The kittens have names: Charlie, George, Michael, and Wally. When their eyes look better, I'll take pictures.

Cool!  So...who the heck are Charlie, Michael and Wally??

;)

They are the Upstairs kitties, not be confused with Downstairs kitty George.

Oh that's right.  That explains why they are all Biblical names.

St. Wally should be the patron saint of underdogs. Little Wally is the one we are most worried about.

DR Jane - Both Ioana's I know were born in the US. I think. However, one of them is also Roumanian, while the other one is Argentinian in lineage.

And while I was out and about, I made sure to call my niece, Alyssa, to wish her a very Happy Birthday!  She turned the big S-E-V-E-N today!  :)

*And in a rather unexpected - but very happy - turn of events, just as I had finished singing "Happy Birthday" to Alyssa, my other niece and god-daughter, Emily, grabbed the phone from her sister... "Hi, Uncle Jojo..." That truly made my heart melt.

Some of the paint on the roof has, what he says, oxidized, just in two spots but it looks like sandpaper and not very attractive.  Why it only happened in those two spots is anyone's guess - there are no other problems on the entire car.  He used something called a clay bar, which usually works, but didn't because apparently the paint they used has clear coat or something.  If anyone has any clew how to deal with this problem, please let me know.

My SIL, who spends most of his idle hours taking care if the finish on his vintage Mustang, says that his best guess is that the clear coat has worn off in those spots (the paint finish is naturally dull, it is the clear coat that gives it its shine). If the finish is fairly old and the car has been washed a lot the clear coat will start to wear off - the first signs are usually small spots on the roof or the hood. The solution is to patch up the paint - which will be noticable or to refinish the roof.

For those who may be interested there will be a performance from The Lion King on DWTS tonight.  It's the results show so it's not the "stars"

can't vote until next week.   She takes notes and then after the show we talk on the phone and I cast our votes online.   I will make sure there's a vote for Donny for you :)

Question for Jose,

a middle aged married couple who work with Woody are planning trip to NYC. The mister thinks it would be fun to go to a cabaret.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

T
The kittens have names: Charlie, George, Michael, and Wally. When their eyes look better, I'll take pictures.

Cool!  So...who the heck are Charlie, Michael and Wally??

;)

They were the original Beatles, but their manager thought they needed an overhaul on the names.  George was obstinant, so he kept his.  Wally became "Ringo"...and Charlie and Michael are John and Paul.

Hmmm... I may have to dig out my cassette(!) of the The Rutles now.
