Well, you've read the notes, the notes were candid and contained words, and now it is time for you to post until the candid cows come home.

Jrand - Can they make the Birdie Parody Series Part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT835-V3c4g

required viewing for each person before auditioning for Bye Bye Birdie?

And of course there's also still part 1 in the series, "Bye Bye Birthers," in case a social studies lesson on the U.S. Presidency is still called for at that time

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xjopFriYZg

We're plugging, we're plugging.  How is it the John Stamos-as-Albert story is not keeping up with the Mark Sanford parody?  Isn't it as big a national story?  it's all any of my friends can talk about.  :)  :)  :)

Not a lot (of new stuff) to watch this weekend.

CSI, Season 9, THE MENTALIST, Season 1 and that's about it.

Of course, I have over 3500 movies & TV shows in my DVD library, so I'm sure I can find something else to watch.

Good morning, all! I slept late and I have a few things to do this morning before I rush off to watch this afternoon's runthru of FR. I've got 4 bars to write for the ending of Susan's "Dance of the Golden Crock," and I need to photocopy the scores before I go to the rehearsal.

BK, the foot in the door with the new record company is faboo! I'm selfishly hoping it's Polygram because I want a CD of Kapp's off-Broadway "Man With A Load of Mischief."

DR MBarnum, I'd wish your getting well but I know that only God can make a tree.

Friday morning greetings!  Is the sun ever going to shine again in SW Ohio?  I have errands to run today and we may be going to the Franklin football game tonight for the band salute to John.  We told his wife and daughters that we'd be there unless it's pouring rain.

Good morning!

Still a little humid from yesterday's high temperatures, and it's going to be 80 today, too. Ugh! Thankfully, cooler weather is on the way. It can't get here soon enough for me.

I had my last physical therapy session this morning. It went well though I felt my therapist was a little bit distracted. A new patient came in during the last 15 minutes of my session, so that may have been part of it. Anyway, from now on, I'll continue my exercises at home without reporting in to her twice a week.

They have done wonderfully well by me there, and I'm so grateful the facility was available, but I'm also deliriously happy not to have to go back (unless the symptoms recur).

MODERN FAMILY and COUGAR TOWN did very well in the ratings the other night, ABC's highest rated sitcoms in MANY years. I hope the ratings continue to be positive since it'd be nice to have decent sitcoms on all three major networks. Doesn't look like Fox or the CW is interested in sitcoms any more.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And the handyman/super just called to see if he could come in to paint the living room and the bedrooms... Today. WHAT?!?!? Actually, he came by on Wednesday to see about getting some painting done - the place hasn't been painted in about seven years (before I moved in) - but with everyone's schedules here, it just wasn't possible to schedule it that soon - and have the time to move everything around in the apartment.  Of course, the bedrooms were supposed to be painted back in June before the new tenants moved in.  He prepped one of the rooms, but then never came back to finish the job - "I got backed up with other work."  Anyhoo...

Frankly, I don't care about having a fresh coat of paint in the living room - even though a fresh paint job is required(?) every couple of years according to NYC lease's (I think). And I'm really not in the mood to move all the furniture to the middle of the room and deal with dust and paint fumes for the next 48 hours - he says he can get ALL of it done today, in one day - yeah, right.  Anyhoo...

I do appreciate his earnestness in wanting to get the work done, but... Oh bother...
