Back from my errands, i plan to do as little as possible for the rest of the evening.  My left leg has been aggravating me all day, aching and not wanting to support me, and I wonder if it's arthritis. I'll take some ibuprofen and then stretch out and watch MEDIUM and whatever else appeals to me,maybe the ghost story anthology.

DR Jose, I'll learn more next week about the dress rehearsal. I'd be honored if you would be my date for the evening.

Tomorrow, I've got a day at Toyland and, possibly, the NYPL.

but the original recording (in the original Swedish) is a necessary purchse...

And now a very costly one!  The four used copies at Amazon are going for $250.00 each!!

My memory is that it wasn't cheap when I bought my copy from Dress Circle in London about 10 years ago.

DR VIXMOM please ask THE VIXTER to pick up a Playbill from the floor for BYE BYE BIRDIE! I can use it in the display case next summer when we do our production!

I will indeed!!   Need any Hamlet Playbills from this Sunday? (or Avenue Q?  I have one extra_)

I had my last physical therapy session this morning. It went well though I felt my therapist was a little bit distracted. A new patient came in during the last 15 minutes of my session, so that may have been part of it. Anyway, from now on, I'll continue my exercises at home without reporting in to her twice a week.

They have done wonderfully well by me there, and I'm so grateful the facility was available, but I'm also deliriously happy not to have to go back (unless the symptoms recur).

Good news - and VIBES for non-reoccurance of symptoms!!

DR elmore have you been able to return to the walks that help you lose weight after the diabetics diagnosis?  I know you have been overwhelmed with work & the memorial recently.  I ask because losing weight & strengthening your legs muscles may be the best thing you can do to reduce the pain.

Twice Keith was scheduled for knee surgery as he could barely walk.  He decided to lose weight & exercise to see what the results would be. .  Now his knee rarely bothers him & we know the MRI results screamed knee surgery.

:o I bought mine for a little less than $50!

TOD:

DVD - The Last Voyage

CD - Gaily Gaily/Minsky's

LP - Summer Love with Jimmy Daley and the Ding a Lings and Molly Bee

Jack I will be interested in hearing how the quality is on THE LAST VOYAGE.  I have a friend who sailed on the Ille de France while they were filming the movie.  He was not onboard for the sinking.

FJL I loved both of your You Tube clips from yesterday - maybe we can make the Bye Bye Conrad  required viewing for the Musical Theatre class and the Bye Bye Birthers mandatory viewing for her American Government Class!

It's about the same price from Dress Circle in London as well: 29.99 pounds sterling, which is $47.86 at today's exchange rate.

Well, I'm going to leave now.  I need to run a couple of errands before going to the theater, so I'm off.

Until later!

Richard and I have sent DS Rob to the football game as our family's official representative.  It has rained off and on all day and is threatening again.  The last thing Vicar Richard needs is laryngitis 36 hours before preaching a Sunday morning sermon.

DR Sam, I have no idea how they can charge extra rent for a pet, & a sizable amount too. DS Craig said it isn’t uncommon

I have paid it for ten years.

We're not sure.  Last time I talked to John's wife, it sounded like the band was uncertain.

If they asked me, I could write a book.

But, of course, no one ever does...

Dan, would you write a book?

I don't know what's going on with the iPhone but it has to stop or I'll just get a new one.  Dear reader Jose intimated without really providing any links that this all may be an issue that has to do with the last update, but I've seen nothing about that anywhere, and the iPhone tech person hasn't acknowledged any issue like that.  Sometimes when I plug the iPhone into the computer it does its synch but then tells me that if it syncs my contacts it will change over 5% of them and do I want to continue - since I've never had that screen I simply clicked yes, sync.  It did so and nuked my entire address book off the computer and the phone.  Not good.  I could not get them back on the phone or computer by doing a restore to the last backup (which actually should have been today but wasn't - it was last week) - we did that and it didn't work.  Luckily, I was able to plug into the laptop and get it from there - so it's back on the phone but not on the desktop phone book.  Furthermore, doing a Mobile Me sync brings up that same window saying it will change over 5% so I can't do a proper mobile me sync and therefore can't get the address book from the phone to the computer.  So, the tech has been talking me through a few things, to no avail.  He had me restart, and then replug the phone into the computer - this time it wouldn't even connect - we got some error message that makes no sense to anyone - he's trying to get someone in a different department to figure it out - it says: USB Over Current Notice, a USB device is currently drawing too much power.  The hub to which it is attached to will be deactivated.  And then you can click OK, but it still doesn't connect the phone to the computer.  First of all, there's no USB device that's drawing too much power - the only USB cord in the computer is the Apple mouse.  Other than that, I have my Time Machine/router and my modem.  I use less that 10% of the hard drive space on this computer.  And the tech has no idea what it means.  Maddening.  And I'm running out of time to deal with it because I have to shower and be on my way to the Music Center in thirty minutes.

They charge a pet deposit here, but not extra rent

Usually the pet deposit is refundable if there is damage, the extra rent is not.  I think it is a total rip-off. >:(

Most pet deposits in this area are not refundable.

In addition, Jane, it is getting harder and harder to find apartments that will allow animals at all.

Ran out of time with tech support, so someone will be calling me in the morning to see what's what.  It's baffling, but must be fixed.

I have finished my Italian lesson for the day.  I am afraid that I am not a very good pupil.  Maybe it is old age?
