I've been having an online - and offline - feud with a  woman who thinks she is the Victor Herbert Foundation. Beware!

For reasons I cannot divulge since it would reveal her name, I call her the Apple Heiress.

In college we had a rather nymphomaniacal student who worked summers at a dairy. We called her the Derrierress.  Actually she would have been a nymphomaniac if we could have slowed her down.  There were two in the theatre dept as I recall, and one of them now lives four blocks from me. I think she was the first open bisexual I ever knew.

The important question: Is there a pond?

Mais oui, complete with koi.  It was the first thing that impressed Gabe.  :)

I've been having an online-personal feud with a moronic woman who thinks she is the Victor Herbert Foundation. Beware!

Please synchronize your head explosions with BK's and JR's.  Thank you.

Back to the drawing board.

I never use that line, and my desk is a drafting table.

Thank you for the Veterans's Day good wishes.

I was looking forward to an egg sandwich on egg bread this morning - but Fletcher got to the bread drawer first.

Before I started cooking lunch, I did indeed have time to get the remaining SCRUBS episodes watched. I got a little sentimental over the last episode. I did watche the show for at least five seasons, and it was somewhat sad to say goodbye to it. When it comes back at midseason, I don't believe it will be at the hospital at all.

I watched last night's NCIS: LA while I ate lunch. One of the better episodes thus far. Still not much mystery to the show which makes it less likely to stay on my to-watch list if other shows begin to turn up on Tuesday night. Right now, there isn't much of a choice for me.

I then watched all of the bonus features on disc two. They included a 20-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the two episodes in the Bahamas (where the janitor got married).

I also had to go back and copy dow all of the audio commentary personnel from the commentaries. 16 of the 19 episodes had commentaries.

Then I put in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS on Blu-ray. I hadn't seen it in a while and enjoyed the color, singing, and dancing very much. Very good movie to just weg out watching.

I ended my afternoon watching the 42-minute making of documentary for the film. I know I watched this when I reviewed the disc, but I honestly had only vague memories of it.

No, that's the best part--just a goodly lawn area that we can easily fence for a dog run.  The rest is farmland or just native grasses/bushes.  This all may be premature as I haven't actually been inside yet and the place may be a wreck.  Plus it's not very close to any bus stops for Betsy's work commute which may necessitate some marital negotiating.  :)

Some TV news that will disappoint some DRs:

Fox has canceled DOLLHOUSE. Plans are still to finish production on the 13 ordered episodes, but no more will be done. Fox said they planned to show all 13 episodes at some point during the season.

Kelsey Grammer's HANK has been taken off the air by ABC. The 8 p.m. half hour will be filled by reruns and animated specials until UGLY BETTY moves into the spot later in the season.

Of course, ABC's entire comedy block is preempted tonight for the CMA Awards.

Dr. Ruth was at the conference in Toronto.  She knows my DH; in fact, she refers to him whenever she sees him as "that big one."  I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.   :)

DR DAW, many many people in canada where poppies on their lapels for Remembrance Day, which is today.

Poppies used to be "poppy-ular" here, too, but I haven't seen folks wear them for years. My dad always wore an artificial one on Veterans' Day.

That's what i thought. Although they were wearing them on Regis & Kelly this morning.
