I have returned from a festive gathering of my AAUW friends.  We were serenaded by a barbershop quartet and we had a silent auction of our baked goods and handicrafts.  My two coffee cakes sold at decent prices, but I didn't buy anything.

DR MICHAEL S - yes, it's all that info that makes those EBAY photos so mysterious.  I am thinking that since the Monday night ABC schedule was so nebulous - maybe they canned their game shows one evening in October for a special program.

I have COOL & LAM on video....Allison has one scene - I am not at all familiar with the DANGEROUS ROBIN program except what is on IMDB.

I do think it was a ZIV show, though - so maybe they were just burning it off and it was a failed pilot.

Hi--I'm just back from Brent's show.  And I'm not the only one who went twice- Julie Wilson was there again!

I didn't recognize any other celebrities.  I'm sure DR elmore would have known half the people there!

I did notice one change (DR elmore mentioned he had given notes): last night no one applauded at the end of "They Say It's Wonderful," not knowing it was over.  So tonight Brent started "Lovers on Christmas Eve" immediately after.  He sounded great, as usual.

Brent informed me that he will be perfoming in The Music Man in San Jose in January ( I think the 15th-17th).

Thanks to everyone for commenting on my helping DR Ben with the baskets today.  I really was glad to do it and I met some very nice people.    And it was so nice of Ben and Anthony to invite me to their apartment to see their tree.  I felt like I had known them both for years --they were so welcoming.

Well, it's back to reality --I'm leaving NYC tomorrow, back to work Wednesday!

I might go up to San Jose to see Brent in The Music Man.  Anyone want to go?  Do you know the way to San Jose?

My grandfather used to read traffic signs backwards. As we approached he'd say "POTS! POTS!"

And speaking of CDs... many of you will be proud to know that I purchased an OCR of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN....The Tokyo cast recording that is, from 1964 and featuring my favorite Japanese actor Akira Takarada...he has a nice set of pipes, that man does!

It is a swell CD!

The photo can't capture how beautiful the river was this morning. The willow trees are yellow...

Go back after the Boy Scout Camp Out and the river will be yellow.
