speaking of pain ;)  i called the doctor for more pain meds & he switched me to a different pain med.  i told his nurse i was very concerned about switching as i don't wish to spend 4 hours over a toilet bowel.  i asked if the new med was a generic for something and she said no.  today the pharmacist said if i can't take percoset not to take the new meds.  i have a call to make on monday, glad i checked before filling.

apparently the meds i'm on are used after surgery & the new one for chronic pain so it makes sense to switch, i'm just scared too.  guess i'll have to go off of them soon ???

Though BK's special guest star at the Wechter Tribute is in town performing tonight with his wife, I will be hosting Rave in the Nave with Grammy nominee Janice Scroggins.  If former DR Tomovoz were here, he would no doubt be going to hear Mrs. Alpert.

I hope you drove to get there, Canyon lake would be a long walk from your neighborhood!

When I was "away" this afternoon, DR der Brucer returned.  Then, when I was away this evening DR Danise returned.  Maybe I should go away more often!

Seriously, it's great to see both der Brucer and Danise back here where they belong.

It was so sad to see, but there were lots of saguaros that didn't survive the storm.

I spent the day at the office working on setting up a new way to keep my books.  I've sort of been ad hoc about it and decided to break down, buy the updated version of my software, actually learn how to use it and now I'm entering in all the data I didn't take the time to put in before.  It's a pain in the butt, but it looks like once I get it all done it will be very easy to keep up.   I have another day of inputting tomorrow and I should be there.  Whew!

I also had a fun lunch with Paul and then a trip to The Green Gables to split one of their famous hot fudge sundaes.  It was most yummy

I am now relaxing at home with Boo on my lap.

It was a rainy day, near 40 degrees.

It was still very gray and cloudy out. Lots of running water on the trails, and even some waterfalls that did not photograph well.

I understand about the correspondence - I could, of course, just reference it and paraphrase, which is probably the safest way to do it, but there's nothing terrible in it other than Cindy castigating the then powers-that-be at Paramount, who, of course, deserved it and are now mostly dead.

I read Arthur Laurents' book - if that's not actionable, nothing in mine will be.
