Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a mystery, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're also looking for a CDR - Cow's Delicious Risotto.

BK, last summer, I had almost 400 CDs (and a couple of boxes of DVDs) stolen from my garage, so I FEEL YOUR PAIN!! :'( I went looking for a CD that I knew was in a box in my garage and that box and a couple of others were not there.  I'm slowly replacing some things, but I know I'll never be able to replace everything that I had...mainly because I don't think that I can remember everything that was taken, especially the DVDs. :-\

As for the Men's Skating - NBC is showing a Men's Skating Recap today/Saturday from 3:00pm-5:00pm EST (maybe 3:30pm-5:30pm) - Check your local listings. All the major "skates" are supposed to be shown.  -And, then they are supposed to be available on the web.  -Although, NBC has already come under a lot of criticism for their rather stingy Olympic video content on their site.

Being on a DIE-IT, I have not had a memorable meal in the last month.....but maybe someday.

Today is a work day, of course.  And we had a bit of snow.

Tomorrow is Disco Dancing/Thriller rehearsal for Putnam County Dancing With the Stars.  There may be photos, I am not sure.

So tonight after work, I have to do some rehearsing on my Disco Dancing and Thriller.  But I think I will wait until after COPS....unless there is NASCAR.

Evan Lysacek gave a very nice and controlled and rehearsed interview last night.....and he looks much better without his Orange Makeup and his hair combed ALL THE WAY BACK and full of whatever he puts on it.  And whatever he put on it, didn't stop his hair from standing up like Alfalfa during this last spin anyway.

TOD:

This was just over a month ago, but wife Sandy and I went to a local place called Green Pastures, its a fancy restaurant that was once the plantation home of John Henry Faulk.

They serve the greatest Sunday buffet in the world.

Good morning, all! By 7:30 last night I was ready for bed, and I slept sondly until the neighbor above me woke me around 3 am with his usual noisy arrival. The jerk needs carpets and a solid bed, not a squeaky foldaway. Even the earplugs aren't covering all the noise. So, after I went back to sleep I had a very weird Miami University dream, which included my best friend from college,  Matthew, and my cousin Judy, who from 1965 to 1967 or so was the town pump for many folk including my brother Macbeth. Oy. At any rate the dream was about a huge banquet at which I was one of several guests of honor, and one of the top guns, in her speech, announced that for budgetary cuts, she had fired security. Everything went amock from there.

So, today I have to tidy the apartment, do some work on Victor Herbert and Jerome Kern, possibly meet with Kevin Spirtas about his Bocca Raton appearance, and think about the laundry.

Saturday morning greetings!  DH Richard is off to a shape-note singing event and DS Rob is on his way from Michigan, so I have the house to myself for a few hours.  I'm going to spend the day doing website/Facebook updating for several organizations.  This evening, we're going to Dayton's Westminster Presbyterian Church for a concert by the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club - Go Blue!

Thank you SO much for this information. I'll be sure to set the DVR to pick this up. Maybe I can at long last see Plushenko's long program.

Thanks for linking this. I knew she had played the role briefly on Broadway, and it was nice to see these shots, none of which I had ever seen before.

Good morning!

Can spring be too far away. It's going to be 60 today and tomorrow! I only needed a light jacket this morning for my walk, and it was quite wonderful. Rain on Monday, so they say.

With another day off, I'll be transferring the skating to DVD-Rs later this morning, and will take a break to watch BURN NOTICE while I eat lunch.

Tonight I have FROST/NIXON at 8, and I notice that THE READER will be playing on Showtime-HD, so I'll get the DVR to record that, and I'll watch it at some point tomorrow. That checks off two more of 2008's Oscar nominees. And BENJAMIN BUTTON showed up greatly reduced in my Gold Box a couple of days ago, so I bought it. Once I see it, I'll have seen all of the best reviewed movies of 2008, and I can start to concentrate on catching up with 2009 films I haven't yet seen.

I like LOVER COME BACK, but I've never thought it was as entertaining as PILLOW TALK even though it was a bigger hit and got better reviews.

DR BK, I know your pain. I have been hunting for my CD of "Take Me Along" for two weeks now. It's somewhere in this room and it's playing hide-and-seek with my mind. And my singing of the songs is probably causing it to burrow itself further from sight.

TOD: Well, I've had some great meals lately, from homemade cabbage rolls with bacon and ground beef to Vietnamese shrimp soup with winter melon, pineapple and chiles, but I think the spread at Super Bowl party that some friends hosted tops the list: Peking duck, pulled pork sliders with coleslaw, jumbo shrimp with remoulade, serrano ham sliced to order, chicken enchiladas in a creamy Hatch green chile salsa, lamb, Mexican chocolate crackle cookies and a host of aged wines from Burgundy, Italy and California. There was a TV on somewhere, but I didn't notice it much.

Loved the "Holy Grail" coconuts. And Keel's voice was still in fine fettle.
