DR George - hope all turns out well with your car.  BTW, I never anything but my car keys - my key chain is set up so that I can easily detach them from all the other keys I carry.

Thanks for all the jury duty vibes.  While I'm usually pretty open to new experiences, this is one I dread.  Maybe I watch too much Law & Order.

I'm with you.  I'm extremely prone to nightmares & I'm sure doing jury duty could trigger some whoppers.  I also can't sit still for long periods. They don't let you snack either, even if your blood sugar is low.   I don't think they permit you to get up & stretch.  If I don't walk around I can get leg cramps.  I can see the reaction now when I hopped up, jumped around & yelled OUCH, OUCH, OUCH! ;D

Ginny, that not being able to move around is why I thought your doctor would give you a medical excuse.  I have a medical excuse, not for any of the above reasons.

Ginny, you have a medical condition that legitimately should get you excused.

It's okay. But my head still hurts. I'm not sure if i hit my head too. But right when it happened i felt extreme pain in my nose and my head.

Some how the cupboard door scraped my nose and there is a big scrape mark. But it can easily be covered up if i go out.  My head has a constant light pain. That's what i'm more concerned about since i'm not sure exactly what to do about it.

One more comment re: something DRs MattH and TCB said last night about Tom Hanks just saying the winner for Best Picture (and not listing them).

Here is my point. I watched the entire show. But if you asked me to list you right now the entire 10 nominated movies. Well I couldn't do it.

Could you name all five of the nominees for Best Supporting Actor, or the five for Best Cinematography?  They named all of them before they announced the winners of those awards.

No, I couldn't name them now.  But I couldn't name them before the winners were announced either. And that was why i appreciated hearing all the noms before they read the winner.

Jury duty vibes for DR Ginny. I am also surprised that you could not get a doctor's note considering your eye condition. ~~~~~~~~~~

Now we've got a wind storm going on.  We even lost power for ten seconds - very annoying, but thankfully I wasn't in the middle of doing something on the computer.

Re:  The Oscar In Memorium topic:

Andy Borowitz of The Borowitz Report has tweeted:

"Oscars say that next year they will double the number of dead people who qualify for the montage. "

Yes, but the extra names will be of Academy members who complained about this year's montage.

With a knock that hard to your nose going up into your head you should take it easy for a few days, or more.  Try not to bang your nose again & I suggest you don't do any activities where your head is bouncing around.  If you ride your bike, try to avoid bumps.  You should be fine.

So...let me get this straight....the new paperback version will be called

Precious a novel based on the movie Precious based on the novel Push by Sapphire.

It will have to be a trade size paperback, for sure.

MR BK attending another reading of another new musical?  I hope this one truly is what it claims to be...NEW and MUSICAL.

This afternoon I offically jumped on the Bundle Bandwagon.  I got rid of Ma Bell (well, Qwest) and now have internet, cable, and phone service from Comcast for $89.00 a month.

If the performance is as hot as the installer, I should be quite pleased.
