BK,

For those who might maintain that all you do is bitch and complain - have them read the notes re the pressing plant.

I am so glad Princess and the Frog was appreciated; we went to see it here in Rehoboth and were so impressed we drove up to Maryland the next week to make sure the Grandlads got to see it in a theatre.

Sadly, it seems its too much trouble now to take kids to the movies; it's easier to wait for the DVD. The DVD experience is nice, but doesn't hold a candle to the thrill  the kids get from the theatre experience - and they behave accordingly. (The 12 year old is still embarrassed if you notice him tear up :) - of course he catches me at it regularly.)

Ditto...and my favorite song is "Life Has Been Good To Me."

I especially love the version that French Stewart sang on "Third Rock From the Sun." :D

I love the score for "Faust" as well as his work on the movie "Ragtime" and the two "Toy Story" flicks. I missed "Princess and the Frog" this past winter at the theater, so I can't wait to see it on DVD. My friends in New Orleans loved the way it captured a pre-Katrina feel of the city, they said.

Good morning, all! I slept late and I'm very happy I did.

DR Jose, the news that the recording will continue on April 1 is good, so I may spend April 1 & 2 at the LoC.

My cousin Sue, our family's chronicler, is very unhappy with Uncle Bob's obituary, since his parents mentioned in the obit are really his Aunt Lucy (his mother's sister) and Uncle Henry. She's wondering how the incorrect obit got into the newspapers: most likely my cousins Mike and Geoff gave the wrong info to the funeral home, since I remember fiilling out an obituary for my dad  at the very same funeral home in 2007.
Anyway, here's the obituary:
http://www.legacy.com/Middletown/Obituaries.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonId=140898543

I have little to do today. The dog above me has been barking for the past 10 minutes, so that bodes ill for today. I have some writing on Victor Herbert to do, as well as WIZARD OF OZ edits.
