Oy! I just ate a piece of cheese and didn't notice the mold on one side on the chunk I cut it from. I hope it was penicillin and not deadly.

My wife and I just finished watching THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG.

We really enjoyed it.

Great songs, visuals, story and characterizations.

It's the best thing that Disney Animation has done since BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

I shall shortly be on my way to Grant's.  I managed to go through the book just looking for bad breaks and caught about thirty-five that for whatever reasons didn't get done - either I didn't originally catch them, they got introduced when we fixed em dashes, or he missed them.  Today, when we do those fixes I will not allow him to move on until we've checked that entire page to make sure nothing else has gotten screwed up.  Once we fix those, then the ONLY other things that might need fixing are things I might catch on my final proofing.

Great news about the "Cuba" score. Glad to see Brooke Adams headed to Broadway in "Lend Me a Tenor." I met her on a number of occasions in the mid-1980s when she and her sister, Lynne, ran a small theater in Lexington, N.Y., that was intented to workshop new plays. One was "Moms," about Moms Mabley amd it had Clarice Taylor and S. Epatha Merkerson long before "Law and Order" came about. Brooke did a play with a title that escapes me ("The Lloyd Adams Chronicles" maybe?) that was optioned as a TV series but went nowhere. The third was a wonderful little musical called "All Bets Off" with a score by Jamie Donnelly (N.Y. "Rocky Horror") and Danny Troob, who has orchestrated numerous shows, including "Big River." Anyway, Brooke was as nice as possible, and it was great to see her lugging around pieces of sets during scene changes and intermission as if she were just one of the crew.

In the mail today was an invitation to my Uncle's 90th birthday celebration.  We were surprised he will be 90.  He looks great, is active & still drives.  He is married to my mother's younger sister who is also in great shape.

Lunch at SAIGON  was delicious. I had Lemongrass Chicken and Jim had Pho. The elderly asian couple who run the place were delightful and very friendly. My worry is that they use MSG. I have a terrible headache which even a 2 hour nap has not taken away.

Jim and I plan to indulge in SAIGON's weekday buffett soon, so if I get another headache I will know if it was or was not the food, I guess.

Did you ask if they use MSG?  I'm lucky that it doesn't bother me at all.

Northern Iowa played a great NCAA tournament game today (as did Washington), but they have got a couple of really butt-ugly players.  I thought I was watching SHREK 5 - THE BASKETBALL GAME.

It is a perfect 70 degree sunny day today.  We had a lovely hike, even if it was too short for me.  When we pulled up in the driveway Keith noticed a Red Tailed Hawk gliding & circling above us.  We watched for awhile.  I then noticed a Bald Eagle flying our way.  Briefly we had them both above us.  Such a special treat, especially the hawk gliding as it did right above us.

Usually when I have a bird circling above me, it turns out to be a vulture.  Not that I blame him, I would probably make a pretty large buffet.

I wouldn't worry to much.  If anything, you might notice that your pimples are clearing up!

Usually the hawks don't glide like that-simply beautiful!

I'm listening to CD's that have been in my desk drawer for a couple of years.  It is wonderful to have a CD player & quality sound.

The camera was in his desk drawer-lol.  I know the eagle was too far away.  I'm pretty sure the hawk was as well.

I did take this photo last month (been waiting for the new computer to share it).  I use the orange toy as an arm rest during my exercises.  As soon as I'm done Sherlock likes to pile more toys on top & reclaim it. ;D

After a beautiful sunny first day of Spring; it looks like it is now clouding up for a rainy Sunday.
