I guess that's not the title then....perhaps DR DRUXY will check in before the evening is over.

I just bought a new computer, so I don't have $55.....in fact, I don't have $5.

No, I think you're right, because I just this moment remembered it was a Leo McCarey film.  It either must not be an Archive title, or at least is not included in the sale items.

MR BK will you be arranging a book signing if you come to Indiana - and will you alert the theatre that you are coming, or will you surprise them.

Obviously the first part of the question has a bearing on the second.

I don't know that there'd be enough interest for a signing, and I'm sort of waiting till the new book to even think about doing any.  I haven't decided whether to alert the theater, although I probably will.

Or, what about a talk-back with the composer after the show(s) that you attend??

FYI

If you ever pull something in your back, and you find that you are out of Epsom Salts - Don't try soaking in Calgon instead.  You will be lucky if you survive the ordeal.

Please don't say you slipped & fell in the bath!

Nope, but close.  I had to wait until the tub emptied to stand up.

I just watched two episodes of a show on E! that I never have to watch again....something about 3 young "girls" in Hollywood who work the runway in lingerie shows and want to be stripper angels in music videos....they all live at home with their mother who follows the tenets of the THE SECRET...and stepfather.

They are going to be famous for being on television - and they have no real reason for being on television....these reality "stars" really bother me, especially because of their influence on young people....because I know if such television had existed when I was a teen, I would have been a strong fan ...anyway....hopefully SOMEDAY this stuff will be gone.....although I doubt it, since it seems to be cheap to produce.

Thank goodness they didn't have these shows when you were young, Jrand.  If they had, you would probably be a stripper angel today.

MR BK will you be arranging a book signing if you come to Indiana - and will you alert the theatre that you are coming, or will you surprise them.

Obviously the first part of the question has a bearing on the second.

Or, what about a talk-back with the composer after the show(s) that you attend??

If it's for your production, always happy to do it.

DR TCB I'm so sorry you are hurting.

BIG TIP HERE:  I use a flashlight at night when I get up so I don't trip over Sherlock, or his toys.  All you need is a little, easy to hold, flashlight so you can see in the dark.

I think the debate is over-just waiting for the results now :)

SPEEDY PAIN FREE VIBES!!!

I think the debate is going to continue in my world. We all like the original: J & B, AND AMERICAN LOVE STORY, except the producer who is sold on Jews on First: Playing America's Game. Even though I like it, I think it's a dated reference that most people won't get...I'd be more pro if the routine was in our film...so we'll see...

I can discuss: Valentine's Day was a box-office loser, and this is just total BS of the highest order.  Mr. Marshall's need for publicity at his age is just a little nauseating.

I agree it is dated, some would even say calling it America's game is dated-horror of horrors they would think you are talking about football ;)

I just looked up the box-office on Valentine's Day.  Who on Earth do they think they're kidding - disastrous reviews and yet somehow this tripe did 56 mil its opening weekend?  And no one questions this?  It beat every other film?  I don't think so, and if I were a Warner Bros. shareholder who ultimately gets a report about how the film didn't actually bring in any profit to the studio, I would be not so happy.
