My guest list for dinner tonight is up in the air, wavering from five to eight. We'll still have the goose and a pork roast, at least one type of potatoes, asparagus, home-grown salad, Jacques Pepin's mother's version of deviled eggs, and plenty o' wine. Don't know what someone is bringing for dessert, but I'm off to get the rest of the house cleaned before this afternoon.
