The Federal government sent me a letter today telling me that they owe me 54 cents....but I have to request it in writing.....if I do....I will net 10 cents.....I think I will let them have it.

We got that letter last year, except they owed us 24 cents.

Busting is doing about as well as Legend of the Lost so far - which is not quite well enough.  I'm hoping it picks up otherwise I fear no more Billy Goldenberg on CD.

I ordered mine.  Wasn't Blly Goldberg Bea Arthur's musical director?

And he wrote the music to Ballroom, starring the late Dorothy Loudon.

Dear Lord, is Mercury retrograde in my anus or something like that?  So far today I have:

Been screamed at by our old neighbor who parked in our driveway with two trucks and his Mercedes and then went ballistic when I asked him to please move them as I was there to load up our car.  He claimed to be an off duty policeman, and what with Portland's recent spate of police having anger management issues (front page news in the Oregonian), I believed him.  Incredible.

Been dealing with Qwest all day long, which has totally fouled up our account in moving over here.

Been dealing with the screencap proprietary hardware/software people we use at Blu-ray.com.  They "updated" their driver, making their equipment unusable.

Lordy, lordy.

I'm back to hating Qwest.  I got snookered on a total bait and switch, and am not a happy camper.

:(  We are ok with it.

I had a big gay chocolate ice cream cone with chocolate sprinkles from Doug after lunch.

He's on his way to China to perform so he will be gone for two weeks!

Hooray for Doug

I would like a big gay chocolate ice cream cone with chocolate sprinkles.

So would I, minus the sprinkles.

I'm back from a great day of outlet shopping with my friend Marti.  We went first to the Vera Bradley store, where I just scoped things out.  Then, we did the rest of the mall - I bought some shoes, some sleep wear, some cosmetics, and a cute hooded sweater.  After a bite of lunch, we went back to VB, where I bought for a friend in Ohio, our niece/goddaughter, and myself.  May have to make a quick stop there tomorrow before we hit the road for WI.

Ginny were your arms too loaded down to carry out anymore VB items that you "need" to return ;)  The store must open early if you can stop on your way out.

Meeting was the meeting - all ninety minutes' worth.  Then I went and had a little visit with a neighboring playwright.  Then I had some poached eggs.  Now I am back home and then at five it's an early dinner (where I will have another small meal), and then a movie.

LOL, DR Jane!  Today was certainly the biggest shopping trip I've had in quite a while.  Tomorrow's drive should only be about 3-4 hours, so we don't have to leave at the crack of dawn.

There is lots of activity at the vacant rental house across the street. They are doing a quick update to get it ready for more renters. Five pickups and a van are parked on the street. I hope we get good neighbors this time.

It's a post.
