DR Jennifer - Let's hope that DialIdol is correct.  Gawd knows that that contestant should have gone home last week. Or the week before. Or even the week before that.

I disagree.  I think that nicole is clearly the best. And i think that evan is quite good.  I do think that the judges overscored erin and chad. There is no way that they should have gotten 9s or 10s.  I think that erin is better than chad. Although i think chad is more popular than erin.  I am curious how popular nicole and evan are with fans.

DR Jose that sounds cool about the LOST parties.  I think it could be very neat to watch with other fans. Although I don't like distractions. So maybe I would not enjoy it with others around. Although if they are all true fans that i'm sure they will mostly be quiet.

I just don't like these subjects that are basically done better in a movie....thrown onto the stage.....not EVERY movie can be a musical.....well....why not ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN, THE MUSICAL?

With all the whisper-speak that sometimes goes on in LOST (and I'm not talking about the Whispers), I don't think I could watch it with more than one other person in the room (and I would let that person know that they were not to talk at all until a commercial...)

I see ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN to be more of an opera than a musical.

It's funny to think that Blythe Danner once starred in BLITHE SPIRIT and that Anne Shirley played Anne Shirley in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES.

Since this is the finale, I predict they will either all be killed or be rescued.

Univeral's PR department is in hyperdrive.  I have received three (count 'em) Blu-ray screeners of the Hopkins/del Toro WOLFMAN.

And just because one can never have enough bassoon in their life...

The Breaking Winds in Lady Gaga Saga

That is awesome---I'm sending it to my bassoon-playing friend!

Oy! Such a day I had. I am exhausted. I think I will lied down and sleep through JUDGE JUDY. When I awake, I need to prepare the Herbert copies for the copyists and keep records of who's copying what.

BK, I know this isn't Wednesday, but is this new project you are working on with David; is this a screenplay, a play, a musical, or none of the above?

Oh!  I am sorry I didn't mention it.  What clever fellows they were.  I love the story.....I really didn't know what direction Act 2 would take....for sure....but....of course NOW I want to see a production of it.

And speaking of the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, I stopped by the BGICT earlier today/yesterday with my friends Brendan and Lukus.  They busked for their ice cream!

They performed a cool acoustic version of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face/Bad Romance".  Doug even joined in with some ice cream truck percussion and some cool harmonies on the chorus.

que es busked?

Playing in the streets, subways etc and gathering spare change from passers-by. Or maybe a little ice cream!

Greetings from beautiful (really) Delafield, WI!  We checked out of our Chicagoland hotel and went to the outlet mall, where Richard walked and I visited Vera again.  A Facebook friend and her daughter arrived just as I thought Richard's patience had expired.  We had a nice visit, I paid for my purchases and left the girls there to do their shopping.  We headed north on Illinois 31 through the Fox River Valley and stopped for lunch at Panera in McHenry, IL.  We drove through rolling Wisconsin countryside and arrived here about half an hour ago.  Richard has gone to the seminary for evening prayer.

TOD: The first album I ever bought was Peter, Paul and Mary's "Moving". (Their breakthrough album.) They were the first group I followed and I bought their albums for years. Also, they were the first group I saw in concert. I was SO excited to see them live!

Later I became a fan of The Smothers Brothers, John Hartford, Pete Seeger (especially his Sacco and Vanzetti songs) Dylan, The Kingston Trio, and The Greenwood County Singers (featuring a young Van Dyke Parks, his brother Carson, and the writer Tom Robbins).

My current favorite folk singer continues to be Roy Zimmerman, a combination of Tom Lehrer and Jon Stewart. Here's a song he frequently recycles: Ted Haggard, George Rekers...next week, who knows?

and another favorite skewering the right for their hypocritical attitudes about same-sex marriage:

Miss Dixie Bell is at the groomer's. Not that she's a noisy dog - she isn't - but the house feels strangely quieter without her here.
