MOOT

Well, you've read the notes, you know why the notes were moot, and now it is time for you to post until the moot cows come home, moot being one of the cows' favorite words on account of the MOOt.

I just finished watching last night's 2-hour season finale of "Chuck" and there are some radical changes in store for next season! :o

Topic of the Day:  one of my all-time favorites is Ain't Misbehavin':

And I love the way the original vinyl album was one picture from the front to the back...I just wish that there was a picture of the whole thing.  I could only find pictures of the front:

I love the original The Music Man poster and, of course, the Follies poster.  Also by the same artist as The Music Man, the Most Happy Fella poster.

One of my favorite movie posters is Sullivan's Travels.  I also love Chinatown.

I love the original The Music Man poster and, of course, the Follies poster.

And then there's Godspell...son of Follies. ;)

There's the "Follies" poster. In its own universe.

And the coupling couples of the original "A Little Night Music."

I hated the way they filled in the couples for the movie poster of the same. Made it cheap, like parts of the movie.

And I loved everything about the design for "On the 20th Century":

I don't know if I could pick a favorite movie poster, but here are a couple that come to mind:

"Brazil":

"The Band Wagon":

"Hairspray" (Even in Spanish):

"Hannah and Her Sisters." If I remember correctly, Woody Allen told the New York Times that when he saw the poster, he saw the film that he had wanted to make:

I need to win teh Lotto - I don't need a big win - if I could walk away with say $500,000 cash ... after taxes....I could be set...

TOD (yesterday) Newhart without a doubt - loved  "the kiss" in the M*A*S*H finale but didn't care for the whole Hawkeye in the Hospital scenario...

Good morning, all! I will head down to Toyland around 11 or so; I have a date there to work on some edits with Mr Skip Kennon. Until then, I have to vacuum the apartment, edit some ROSE OF ALGERIA scores, think about my July 9 WIZARD OF OZ presentation, and see what fresh hell today brings.

TNT was having a LAW & ORDER blitz last night, so I watched reruns until 10. I also looked at a new book on Broadway press agent Merle Debuskey and  answered some questions I had by checking bits of Steve Suskin's book on Broadway orchestration.

Loved the kitten video and seeing MR BK as Adam in Tabatha yesterday....Liberty Williams just doesn't have the magic for me....but the script and direction wasn't helping her much that's for sure.

I need a table for the seance.....the seance in BLITHE SPIRIT.....the one I am using is too small.....so perhaps I shall head for the FLEA MARKET today and see what it available....that is the scene we are blocking this evening.
