Thanks Laura.  We are supposed to go on a new hike tomorrow, I even have preview photos.  I don't know if the rain will change our plans or not.

Aren't you sweet DR TCB.  Of course you haven't seen me since my surgery, scrunching up ones face in pain is not good for it. ;D

Speaking of that nightmare, it was six months ago today I had my surgery.  I am truly grateful I don't feel as I did back then & that my legs function so I can take my walks and hike.  I just thought my shoulder & arm would be working better by now.  The PT guy keeps reminding me what I had was exceptionally traumatic, more so than regular breaks.

Well, I'm off to the Washington Center for the Performing Art's Volunteer Appreciation dinner!  They're going to announce their next season.  That'll be fun.  They also have door prizes and last year I won two tickets to any WCPA-sponsored event during this past season.  I went to Avenue Q in February!  Maybe I'll win something again.

Be back later!

I used to have the Equus poster and Dreamgirls. All the submission have been good. And I agree on the boring Assassins poster. Which leads me to the question: What other posters do you find lackluster?

I was not a fan of the red David Merrick poster with just type. I would have liked more than a logo for "I Can Get It for You Wholesale." Yet I liked the simplicity of the type against the blue skies for "On a Clear Day ..."

Thank you John G.  There is one spot, and always has been, that has given me the most trouble.  Of course it is going to be the last place to stop hurting.  The problem is, when it does the sharp burning pain it does so well I have to ease back off of my exercises.  Of course that means I'm not moving forward.  Anywhere else I'm permitted to push through the pain & ignore it.

Please forgive my complaining a little.  I really think my attitude has been good & I'm not depressed or anything.  I had a nice day.  We went to the dentist this morning & now my teeth are clean.  Sherlock waited in the car as we took him to the pet store & then for a hike before coming home.

Theater Mania.com is plugging the Tony Awards (of course) and they have brought back that sweet little preview of FINIAN'S RAINBOW - which should still be playing on Broadway!!

I was just reading up on the Oberammergau Passion Play that is presented every ten years.  Don't you think it would be cool if some town in Ireland would put on BRIGADOON once every ten years, and really made it a special event?

But seriously, I guess I try to stick to that motto.  I have had five major surgeries, and I am still kicking; so I assume God isn't through with me yet.

You have been my inspiration, if you can hang in there so can I.  I do admit I am tired of wearing the same few button down tops, while at the same time grateful I can get in & out of them without assistance. :)
