Strange bedfellows!

Curl Up With a Capybara
Melanie Typaldos' pet capybara, Caplin, cozies up with Neptune, a pet guinea pig. The capybara is a semi-aquatic rodent of South America and stands about 2-feet tall at the shoulder while weighing in at about a hundred pounds.

Another good reason for comprehensive immigration reform.

Careful what you wish for - a plan that included unconditional amnesty would put you out of work :D

der Brucer

On the other hand - a plan that provided conditional roads to green-cards would keep you fully employed

Everyone would still have to apply for amnesty - just like every other time they've had it.  It wouldn't put me out of work at all.

The wall paper is totally gone and the walls are clean and scrubbed.  I need to fill some nail holes, recaulk around the door and it should be ready to paint tomorrow.  I am SOO glad this part of the project is done.

I must admit I'm sleepy. I'm also getting a stuffy nose.

Thanks Ginny.  No, I didn't over do it.  I took many breaks rather than my usual "keep going till it's done" attitude.   I cleaned everything up and stopped for the day about 3:15 PM.  I made tuna pasta, took a shower and have been sitting ever since. Not going to push it, but I do feel great

I've just been relaxing, had a few telephonic conversations, and am thinking about food.  I won't eat dinner until seven-thirty or so, and I'm quite hungry right now - was thinking of a couple of poached eggs on toast and may just mosey on over to Jerry's to get some.

Had my poached eggs, come back one hour and ten minutes later to find no posts.   You'd think this was a Sunday on a holiday weekend, but sincerely, I would hope we could get off this page sooner than later.

All I can post about is that I waited with one of the sweet old ladies from church until AAA came to replace her battery. In her car, of course.

I will say that I haven't watched a bloody thing all day, so I don't know if I'll get around to a motion picture or not.

Think of all the people who are going to be eating tuna pasta this weekend, because of you, BK.
