Ginny - Skip and I also send love and best wishes to you.

And I'm sure Toby and Dylan would do so if they understood.

Thank you, DR FJL - and Skip (and Tobey and Dylan)

OK, folks, DH Richard is about to leave for the evening and take my laptop with him.  I really don't want it here overnight.  Don't be alarmed if I don't show up again until tomorrow afternoon.

I love you all and missed you very much!

Sorry to go "silent" there for a while - I've had lots of company this afternoon.  My sister-in-law Jayne, Rob & Mary Linda, and, of course, Richard.  We have not seen Dr. Jain, but Richard reminds me that someone was probably waiting for him Wednesday afternoon when he was involved with me about 5 times longer than expected in the cath lab.

Oh, and I've received lovely flower arrangements from our church in Lima and from my sister.  Talked to her on the phone for a while before Jayne arrived.

So when the hell are you going home?

And since you all seemed to enjoy my previous clip of La Traviata so much; I thought I would post my absolute favorite.  Just because it makes me smile.

DR Jane, I think I will start swimming again this winter. For a while (maybe 5 or 10 years ago) that was my exercise of choice. I'd go 2 or 3 times a week for 1 hour.

I don't really like indoor swimming in the summer. But there is an indoor pool attached to the library. So since i won't be able to bike. I might try to swim once a week all winter. I think that is a goal i could maintain.

I don't care for indoor swimming either & chlorine in any pool bothers me.  I need to know if I can swim & my physical therapist told me the pool at the Y doesn't use chlorine.  Keith is a member and can take me as a guest.  I don't know how enjoyable it will be since mostly I prefer swimming laps using the crawl stroke.  I have visions of my right stroke pulling me the wrong direction, if I can even swim with it.

I always swim with goggles. Maybe you could start with a flutterboard.

Has anyone here read, or even heard about a book called "The Malacca Conspiracy"?  I got an e-mail from Amazon that it is avaialble on Kindle; but when I clicked on the site, there is no mention of that book.

I cannot believe this day is over - it was supposed to be an easy day and it was anything but easy - so much unnecessary silliness.  The guy finally wrote me - he's in a quandary because he doesn't have his CD so he doesn't know whether he should close the dispute.  I asked him to do so, and reminded him that I'd already told him it had been shipped on Thursday, FOUR WEEKS EARLY.  We'll see what he does.

I would hope that he would close the dispute.

Back from a two-mile jog.  Found out that the show release that follows Monday's release has already been on CD before, despite its composer assuring me it hadn't.  Oh, well.  We're going ahead with it because the CD was released in 1994 and the company that did it is known for inferior quality and lousy packaging - so we'll make it sound much better and we're now going to include at least four bonus tracks, maybe five of songs that have never been on CD before.

Well, today's audition came and went.  I hate auditions.  I couldn't remember the first few words of my monologue and struggled for a bit and just had to start over, but then I got through the whole thing.  After that, my two songs (the last 20 or so measures of both "Love Who You Love" from A Man of No Importance and "I Get a Kick Out of You" from Anything Goes) were better.  Now, it's up to the directors.  I don't know when I'll hear something.

But it's over. :)

Now, I'm going to go shopping for some snacks to bring to the going away party that'll start in about an hour, so I'll be out for the rest of the evening.

Until later!

Glad to hear from DR GINNY!

DR MBARNUM are you selling your house?

I have a couple of DVD's to send to you, but I think I will wait until you move so you don't have to pack them up.

This has been a day of people BUGGING me.  One customer wrote to complain that his jewel cases were cracked on two of the three London Promises.  I told him we have no control over the USPS and how they manhandle things, and that I hoped he would just replace the CD cases or, if not, that I would send him CD cases.  He got a little haughty and so I told him to simply return them for a full refund.  I can use the stock, frankly.
