Night all.   Must get ready for work.

I lost another hub cap today, luckily I have a steady supply in my trunk.  Thank goodness for plastic things that are shinny when new, until I hit the curbs.  :'(

Liked the review, BK, but I understand your uneasiness about how he views what your life should have been. Is his life any better?

TOD: I feel bad that I left Raymond Chandler and Ross Macdonald off my list. I also enjoyed John D. MacDonald's Travis McGee series. And Conan Doyle. And so many others.

I saw someone else watched Romance and Cigarettes. (Matthew)  I had a good time with the movie. ;)
It was quite enjoyable. It may not have been timeless, but it was what it was on its own terms. I never did quite figure out the time period of the movie though, especially when James Gandolfini and Susan Sarandon talk about seeing "Annie Get Your Gun" with Ethel and Ray Middleton. yet, I liked that, too. I'd rather be left guessing about a few details than have everything so pat that I no longer pay attention to it.

So, Druxy, will there be a signing in Austin any time soon?

Having slept a grand total of ninety minutes last night I'm giddy with exhaustion, so I think I'll write the notes and hit the road to dreamland.
