DR MBARNUM your new avatar with DD BOSCO is most becoming.....nice to see his picture.

Everyone remember to take lots of photos of your pets - you will be happy that you did.

DR DRUXY - your book arrived at my house today.

It looks great.  Love the photos.....especially of Diane McBain.....I shall read it tonight when I get home after rehearsal.

HOWEVER my favorite photo is the one of your mother and father on their wedding day on the train.....with a great sign behind your mom that reads: "Watch Your Step"!

BTW: I think you will enjoy the story of how my parents got together.

Last night I watched THE CURSE OF THE MUMMY'S TOMB a 1964 Hammer Film that is my favorite MUMMY film - until the Brendan Fraser series of films - and the BEST looking Mummy ever.....Dickie Owen.....who has dropped off the face of the earth.

Of course it doesn't hurt that it also has Fred Clark as an American showman who wants to display the Mummy for Profit......

Today at the Goodwill I found two of the London Phase 4 Stereo Albums.....shiny and new and hardly played at all.

Frank Chacksfield and his Orchestra, Ronnie Aldrich and his Two Pianos, and Stanley Black and the London Festival Orchestra.

The LP's are Stage & Screen Spectacular.....Hits of the 60's and  All Time Favorites....including "The Warsaw Concerto" that MR BK wrote about last week.

I'm up.  The sky is blue.  No time to jog this morning, so I'll have to jog early this evening.

DR Druxy, I received a lovely package containing your new book yesterday!  It will be next on my reading list.

You're certainly luckier than me.

I have yet to see a finished copy.

How does it look?

Hmmm...right now, Im thinking that it looked like a book (but I'll give it a closer eye when I get home tonight and let you know.)

As for the Topic of the Day...

I can still picture myself holding my father's hand while on the steps inside Arlington(?) Hospital on our way to see my new baby brother. I'm just not sure which baby brother we were on our way to see, whether it was Michael (#3 of 4) or Jay (#4 of 4).

Bit of a coincidence:  BearManor Media, the publisher of DR Druxy's book (My Forty-Five Years in Hollywood and How I Escaped Alive), also recently published a book by a childhood friend of mine:

Donna Novak and I attended St. Joseph's Grammar School where we were systematically tortured by nuns.

DR Druxy, I just looked you up on Amazon.  I just purchased "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: From the Secret Files of Harry Pennypacker" for my Kindle.  I love old Hollywood and all it's glory.   Looking forward to reading it.

Possibly too graphic of a post, or a possible SPOILER of your lunch.

I have decided that my DD (dear doctor), probably studied medicine at a meat packing plant.  This is by far, the most painful attack of MRSA I have had.  Well, the attack in itself was painful enough; but once the "local" that the doctor's gave me wore off, I was in a great deal of pain all night long.  The doctor has to open the infection so it can drain, and it certain did drain.

At four a.m. I knew that I wasn't going to go to work.  As soon as I can, I will be trying to change the bandages, and then go to the grocery store.

DR TCB - ~~~~~VIBES~~~~~VIBES~~~~~VIBES~~~~~~

Could you possibly see another doctor this afternoon? Or maybe even pay a visit to an ER if needed? Are you able to take any sort of meds to alleviate the pain?

Thanks, Jose.  Once I get back from the store, I can take a pain pill.  But I won't take one until I have finished driving for the day.

Actually, I kid about my doctor.  He has been my doctor for over twenty years from the good times through the bad.  I call him "the butcher" to his face.

I am really fine, I just wasn't expecting the pain and the drain.
