So . . . I've asked Rosalie and Sara Jean if either is free to add this number to their recording schedule.

We do, but the problem occurred because the soprano with the ankle problem cannot record and I need to replace her.

I may have mentioned this shameless self-promo thing, but with this being the week of the Henry Mill;er Theatre being officially renamed the Sondheim:

My "Ghost of Henry Miller" take-off on LOSING MY MIND was included on the website of an NYU course about the history of New York

http://ahistoryofnewyork.com/2010/06/losing-my-sign/

If i mentioned it before, well, it adds to the number of posts.

Today we saw a local production of "Noises Off." Sadly, Lilah and her friends all left after the first act. And Sandra caught four sardines.

By fishing or begging for food?

The cast members tossed the sardines into the audience when they took their bows.

Did a mile and a half jog, have gotten the blurb and audio samples to the webguy and I'll now shower and head over to the Falcon Theater to see a reading of a new musical.

Keith thinks we now have two bears visiting us and one of them is very big.  This afternoon he cut the plum tree down below the plums and we tossed the branches, and plums, outside the fence.

This is not our yard or fence.

We have an eight foot elk fence.

Watching "The City of Your Final Destination," the most recent James Ivory film. I can understand the appeal of this story to the director. It deals with an author who lived in a South American compound with his wife, mistress, child and gay brother (Anthony Hopkins). The secluded paradise they created must have been like the place in Chatham, N.Y., that Ivory created with Ishmael Merchant, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala and others while they planned their films.

I guess it's too late to send DR Thom surgery vibes, but I'll send them anyway.

Most of the bears I know only go after men. I know, that's no help.
