I've been looking through the Sondheim book; it will keep the cult happy.

If not in complete nirvana. He seems a bit full of himself at times.

But with very good reason, IMO.

Ha it was supposed to be 19C (high 60s) and partially sunny today. But instead it was 11C (high 40s) and foggy.

Boo. I was so looking forward to biking and having the weather be nice!

The book I preordered in August - The Films of Frances Farmer - has been canceled, and Amazon will let me know IF it ever becomes available.  It had a publication date of mid-September 2010.

We had SERIOUS weather for about half an hour.  More destructive weather all around us - trees down, power out, and roofs flying to the west and south of us.

Yes, DR CP - I saw BRAINEX Indiana twice....the second time certainly in STERLING company with you, MR BK, EVIL KURT, and his friend the lovely Jewess Adrienne.

TOD:

I never considered myself a fan of cult films, but I loved TFNM. I also loved KING OF HEARTS, but never thought of it as "cult." I'm surprised so many folks are familiar with FREAKS. I suspect the definition of "cult" is largely in the eye of the beholder--or something like that.

And may we assume that the Buck Creek Players heard of the BRAIN because of a certain one of our DRs??

Ginny, did anyone have an explanation as to why they were unable to get blood from you the other day?

I had blood drawn last week. No problem getting blood--I just didn't like the results!

No, you're not.  I didn't know this...until now.

We're all home waiting for the sirens to go off telling us to go to the basement...

I went on a date like that one night!

I'm home and tired.  My glasses are still broken making it difficult to use the computer.

I had a wonderful time and really lucked out with mostly nicely weather with only a spattering of rain.  It looks like I returned home just in time.
