I really loved my Aunt Lillie - she's Aunt Lena in the Kritzer books.  But, the funeral is thirty plus miles and it just makes everything else I have to do too difficult.  My cousin Lori was great and I'm not the only one who can't do it due to other commitments and the distance.

We met Craig at the storage unit & unloaded the trailer.  While Craig went to U-haul to return the trailer we came home, unloaded our car which he had filled up with stuff, collected Sherlock & went to the hiking trail.

Well, I'm now a proud graduate of Cardiac Rehab Phase 2 at Atrium Medical Center.  One of the nurses relayed a quote from another patient:  "This is a great health club, but the initiation fee is pretty steep!"

Congrats DR Ginny! I hope your cap and gown were pretty.

I think it was a cap and a hospital gown.

Thanks, DR MBarnum!

No, DR TCB, that's what I'd get if I HADN'T completed the program!  I thought maybe I'd get a t-shirt or something, but all I got was a report card to take to my primary care physician next week.  They'll mail it to the cardiologist.

Yogi, Craig's dog is a nervous boy so we needed to be extra careful about introducing them on neutral territory.  Technically a dog's regular walking area isn't considered neutral but then we weren't worried about Sherlock.

All went well except Sherlock was unusually happy having Craig home along with Yogi.  Sherlock did something he hasn't done since he was a pup.  He crashed into my knee.  The good news is I was able to get back up off the ground walk.  The bad news is I'm not walking well.  I'm concerned how I will feel tomorrow.  He caught me on the side of the knee which is better than head on.

Congrats on finishing the latest phase, Ginny. And vibes of support for embarking on the next phase on your own. If you lost that much weight on your own, I know you can handle the physical therapy on your own.

Thank you, DR John G!  Please keep the self-motivation vibes coming!

Thanks to you and everyone who commented earlier.  We haven't seen Craig since August '09.  I'm sure you can imagine how good it feels to have him here.

I hope the dogs will get along well. Does it look promising? Hopefully better than Little Ricky and Boo and Callie started out.

I'm also glad to read that Craig's trip has been completed - now you can exhale!

Knowing how bad that stretch can be when it snows it made us nervous.  It felt really good to pull up to his storage unit and see him.

They are getting along much better now.  Ricky is a toy hog and comes pouncing in any time Callie or Boo play with a toy, but they are taking it in stride now.

I just washed Craig's duvet.  What am I supposed to put in the dryer so it doesn't get lumpy?

Tennis balls.

A clean tennis shoe or tennis balls.   Depends on what it's made of though, I don't need to put either in with my down comforter. It's in small squares so the down doesn't settle and get lumpy

Thanks Cilla.  Sherlock wants to play with Kitty & she isn't happy about it.  So far she hasn't swiped at it.  We are also keeping her in Craig's area until she settles in.  Right now all three of them are there resting, unpacking, not sure what.

He desperately wants to play with a cat which I'm sure is more an issue than his size.  Yogi isn't a little dog & Kitty bosses him around.

Listening to Brent Barrett's "Christmas Mornings." Great work, bk and Elmore. Of course, it helps having a voice like Barrett's, too.

While at work on Saturday I listened to several Christmas albums.  Needless to say Brent's is at the top of my list!
