I'm glad you had a good time at the skating show, Cillaliz. I hope you are in one of the shots!

If I'm not, it really doesnt' matter, but it would be fun to be a part of the show

Anyone want to start a pool?

What kind of pool?

-Whether or not this will be the final delay?
-How many days, weeks or months of previews the show will finally end up having?
-The actual Opening Night?

*Nick & Nora was in previews for two months, 71 preview performances.

We also lost one of our JEWS AND BASEBALL interviewees, Bob Feller. :-(

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/16/sports/baseball/16feller.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=%22bob+feller%22&st=cse
Someone mentioned his passing at dinner tonight. Thanks to your posting, I was the only one at the table who knew what she was talking about. But all were interested in seeing the film after explaining that he was interviewed for it.

Listening to part one of one of our new masters (this CD has two presentations of the score - one in film order mastered from one source, and one in the original LP order from another source (you'll understand when I announce, which will definitely be tomorrow at midnight).  The film order version (which includes three things not on the original LP) is absolutely amazing-sounding and I think will blow people away, moreso when they know the story.

Hello. all.

I'm not staying on I just wanted to say hello. I haven't read any notes or greetings. Anthony brought the laptop to the hospital and I'm just dropping a quick note so you see that I'm still alive and kicking.

On Saturday or Sunday when I get discharged I will read all that I have missed and thank you wonderful people then.

Love you all.
Great to read this. Keeping you in my prayers.

My favorite Bette Davis movie is " The Bride Came C.O.D."
My second favorite is "Dark Victory".
Forgot about "The Bride Came C.O.D." I really enjoyed that one.

A friend of mine is trying to remember the name of a movie. Here is how she describes it:

"There was the craptastic horror movie from the 80s.  It was about monsters from the sea, coming to land for the human women.  Anyone have any ideas what movie that was????"

SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS?
I thought Julie Newmar was the monster in that one.

Of course, every time I see or hear "Hi, Ben", I naturally have to follow up with,

"No, don't look at me..."

or I "embellish"

"Hi... Girls... Ben... Sally.."

;D

Watching "Shop Around the Corner" again. Jimmy Stewart is wonderful in this.

OK, OMG  I had a blast tonight. I went to the taping of Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular with Heart.  It was really fun.  Great skating, not too loud. And, when they did the crowd reaction shots at the end of intermission they only filmed my section.  I was in the third row trying to do my best enthusiastic audience member (I do really really good audience).  Do there's a good chance I'll be on the show for a brief shining moment.   So set your dvrs and vcrs for Dec 26 from 3:00-5:00 CENTRAL time.

Nice!

Tonight, we had a (practically) sold out audience for "Jacob Marley's Christmas."  Our last show on Sunday is also supposed to be sold out, or close to it.
