Listening to Scottsboro Boys. BEST. CHRISTMAS. CD. EVER. Thanks again, Mom. I wish you'd had gotten to see it before it ended.
Am enjoying that one, too.
I only wish they had made a broadway cast one too, because I met one of the actors for that cast. Some of the lyrics are different too.

Oh.  I thouht that was the Broadway cast

darn

There isn't a Broadway cast in existence. This is the only one.

I saw an ootlegbay posted on alt.binaries.sounds.musicals, but it looked incomplete.  I'll check later to see if it was reposted.

In other news, our tenants (actually just the wife) is bitching because they incurred a $30 charge for not removing yard debris that had been there for 5 months, even after I told them if they didn't take care of it, they would incur a $30 charge.  Oy.  I also can't abide being a landlord.

But think of the fun you will have knocking on her door on a cold winter night and saying to her (whilst twisting on the end of your waxed moustache) "You MUST pay the $30 yard debris charge!"

I just had a little stray visitor.  A young male dog who was very skinny.  I gave him a bowl of food and he wolfed it down.

I saw some kids down the street and asked them if they knew whose dog it was.  They pointed out a house so I got one of my dogs leashes and took him there.  They claimed he was indeed theirs but I'm worried.  How did he get away from them and to be so skinny!

I hope that they are feeding him and he didn't escape out of hunger.  Yet the first thing the guy said was that he bet the dog was hungry and was going to get him some food.  I will say his nails were trimmed and he smelled like he just had a bath.

I also hope they just adopted him and are nursing him back to health.  At least I know he got one full bowl of food today.  I will keep an eye out on that house.  Let's see if he comes back here again.

While I was outside shoveling, I saw my neighbor's cat walk down the middle of the street.  I said to him, "What are you doing out here?"  The cat just looked at me and then walked away.

DanTheMan, you house is so very cute.

What year was it built and  what room is where that little window up top is?

How many of you have/planning to get one of those new 3-D TV's?  I think it will be quite some time before I'll bother with one--even if I did have the money.  I don't think there is enough content out there to justify getting one.  I don't like the idea of having to wear the glasses either.

Toby the Terrible would more then likely have them either torn up or out in the back yard.

We still haven't moved up to HDTV or blu Ray - si I do not see a 3 D TV in our near future....

unless of course one of us won that 168 million  mega millions drawing...where ARE those tickets we got in our stockings?

I don't plan on getting a 3-D TV anytime soon, but my sister's boyfriend bought a new Blu-ray DVD player and he said that I could have his older (but not-very-old) Blu-ray player!  Score!

DR MB, the house was built in 1948.  The gabled front is just a walk in closet, which is a shame since it gives a nice view of the street.

It is a very cute house.

I'm hearing about the snow on the news.    They keep saying Old Man Winter is making himself at home in the Northeast.

I think I would tell OMW to go back to where ever he came from and STAY there!  Here's your hat--What's your hurry!

I went to the office VERY briefly today.  I got up, took a shower, got dressed, started driving to work and it hit me  "I am NOT ready to go back to work"   So I called in, then decided to do a couple things.  After I was done with the couple things...I left.    I'll work tomorrow and Wednesday and see how I feel on Thursday.   It's been such a busy year, I haven't gotten enough of a break yet

I think I prefer BLOW OUT to DRESSED TO KILL; which is really strange because I am not really a John Revolta fan.  I don't think he is as mannered in this film, as he became later,  This is, of course, not part of the T.O.D., but it is a post!
I completely agree with you. I have never been able to sit through "Grease" because he just irritates me.

How wonderful. I have a friend with a pair of Boston terriers. They're great dogs. And dancing just one of their charms.

TOD:
I only saw a few movies at the theater this year: the three "Girl" movies, "Tangled," "Harry Potter" and "Inception" this year. On a certain level, I enjoyed all of them. I saw more of this year's movies on DVD.

Greetings from Buffalo, where it's 26 degrees, but just flurries as far as snow goes.  Of course there's still a foot or so on the grass from previous storms.

Hoping my drive back from BWI (Baltimore-Washington International Airport) tomorrow isn't bad considering the snow that fell Saturday and Sunday.
