Yep, it's confirmed - 4.2 earthquake centered near Kokomo, Indiana, just before 8am EST.

No doubt caused by THE BEACH BOYS.

I would say that one of my favorite performances of 2011 is Parvesh Cheena playing Gupta on the new sitcom OUTSOURCED. He is a wonderful find and a fantastic comedian.

He has been a member of a couple of different improv groups in Chicago (where he is from) and in LA. I hope that next time I get to LA I can see him perform.

What did you have in mind?

The check arrived from Philadelphia! It only took 11 days: it was mailed late on Dec 19 and postmarked Dec 20, 2010. I could have ridden the train down and back to pick it up in about 5 hours' time. It took 11 days? What the hell?

Yes, I am actually at home today, and not at work.  I woke up at about 2:00 a.m and I was volently ill.  After about an hour in the bathroom and cleaning up the bed and bedroom; I called in sick and went to sleep.

Has anybody here seen the series Pillars of Earth?  It is starting here next week. And I think I've heard good things about it but not sure if it would be for me.

I read the book and saw the series.  I enjoyed both--but I tend to really enjoy those type of stories.  I believe there was a 2nd book set some years after the first but I've never gotten around to finding it or reading it.

Our DR  Ron Pilliam had quite the adventure.  I know what you mean about the airport in Atlanta.  I think they arrange things so your flight is always on the other side of the darn place.  I remember running for a connecting flight coming home from one of the NY trips myself.

I vowed that I would do my best to make any connecting flights at some other airport even if it made me a few hours late to where I was going.

I spent today working around the house.  The boss (myself) was real nice and allowed me to have many breaks.  ;)

I am somewhat worried about my central heat/air.   When I woke this morning, I thought it was kinda cold.  A check of the thermostat said it was 62 degrees but I had it set at 67.  I tried to turn it up to 70 to see if it felt any warmer but after about an hour the temp hadn't changed.  If anything, the air that was blowing felt cold so I turned it off.

It warmed up today to the high 60's outside and the house felt ok but I'm worried about tonight.

Had a fun afternoon doing errands that took longer than expected because I kept running into people I knew and hadn't seen for a long time.  At Bed, Bath & Beyond I saw a former Miami University co-worker who's still working at the campus.  At Kroger I chatted with a friend of our niece Jennifer and with our friend Sam who had 3 cardiac stents put in 2 months after I had my 1.  The grocery was busy, busy, busy and there's not even a snowstorm predicted.  You don't suppose people are trying to stock up in case there's a BIG earthquake?

Did you have jingle bells to sound the alarm during the quake? :)

LOL, DR Jane!

Aren't Engrams what L. Ron Hubbard claimed to be able to get rid of?  That is, when he wasn't writing about Xenu throwing souls into the volcano.  ;)

Michael S - If no one explained last night. Angela Landsbury wasn't introduced during the Jerry Herman tribute because she started the whole thing off and was introduced when she first came out

I'm back from the doctor and all is well in Chelsea, NY. I can eat real food again. I had a banana and we will have turkey and a salad and a baked potato for dinner. We will also go out for New Year's Eve dinner tomorrow.

I see the doctor again on January 7th to go over my blood work and my colonoscopy from last year and we will also set a date for the appendectomy, probably in February.

That's it for now.

Good news and VIBES YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS BEFORE YOUR SURGERY!!!!!
