Well, you've read the notes, the notes were so 2011, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they assure me they're definitely coming home in 2011.

I just amazed myself.  I clicked on "Calendar" and got an error message saying Invalid something or other.  Instead of panic, I went into the admin panel, found the button for calendar and saw that for some weird reason the calendar had started in 2004 but had a maximum date of 2010.  I changed that to 2015, clicked save settings, and voila - calendar is back.  Go me.

Well, slept through the ringing in of the new year.  Actually, we all did. But we seem to be awake now.  Happy New Year everyone.

I'm quite tired, though, so I think I'll hit the road to dreamland.

Wow---2 glasses of champagne and I fell asleep before even saying goodnight. How rude!

Happy New Year!

My DH fell asleep before even finishing one glass. I guess we're officially old!

For 2011, I would wish for good health for all my family and friends, and lots of editing work from people who pay my rate! It's been a dry summer/fall/winter!

Saturday morning greetings!  I am the first one up on this rainy New Year's Day.  It's a TV day in our household - the Rose Parade on HGTV followed by Michigan in the Gator Bowl and Michigan State in the Capitol One Bowl at the same time.  Then the Rose Bowl...On, Wisconsin!

TOD - what we're most anticipating for 2011 is the addition of a lovely daughter-in-law to our family.

Good morning, all! I hope everyone has safely returned from all parties and New Year's Eve excursions. I slept quite well, although my last dream was peculiar, something to do with packing and shipping cartons and my cousin Judy, whom I've not seen in 40 years.

I have a quiet morning here, mostly puttering about and tidying up, and a few things to write about a number titled "My Russian Girlski" from THE LADY OF THE SLIPPER. Around 1 I will head down to Toyland for a meeting at 2. I have no plans for tonight, and I may end up watching the second act of Balanchine's NUTCRACKER.

For 2011, I'd like to see that property in Ohio sell and the money invested for some financial security; December was a horrible month of cash flow and frustration and I'm too old to want to see this continue.

I thought that Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper were very funny last night. Glad I tuned in at 10pm to hear them say that they would be on from 11pm till 12:30am. He looks so scared of her all the time. I guess it's the live tv thing. I wonder how he would be with her if he wasn't always so concerned that she would say something that she's not allowed to say.
