I should have known I was going the wrong way when Sherlock refused to follow me.

DR Jane, reading this line really scared me.

I'm on again for the first time since my last post.  It's a bit disgusting.  The last time I called the guy tried to tell me there weren't any problems last night or the night before.  Uh, yes there were, it was just late enough that I didn't call and apparently no one else did either

KevinH, I'm envious. I love those trips to New York where you cram in as many shows as you can. I saw Hugh Panero on one such trip, but it was in "Side Show."

I love those trips too.  I need to plan out my trips for the year.   I'm planning to go to DC in May to see A TIME TO KILL.  Rupert is adapting it from the book for the stage.   I missed his last two shows in San Diego, so have decided I will make it to DC.  It's actually a lot cheaper and easier to get there from here than it is to go to San Diego

I thought you were going to encounter some dangerous wild animal or something.

I have been very sleepy all day today. I tried to work out on the treadmill but just didn't feel like it and only walked about 5 -10 minutes.

We've been back from Hilton Head for a couple of hours, but the hotel internet was down.  I took a nap and now it seems to be fine.

We were a little late for the church service, due to some navigational issues at both ends of the trip, but Fr. Chris was understanding and very welcoming.  Richard and I explored the island a bit and had lunch at Harbortown - he had a broiled seafood assortment and I had a broiled salmon kebob.  We shared a small slice of key lime pie and then took a walk around the harbor.

Gosh, there hasn't been a sighting of a cougar since December & the bears are hibernating. ;)

I shouldn't be able to get lost for long.  All trails eventually lead down where I can find my way again.  They also all lead up where I know my way except I would then be at the wrong parking area.

I just saw a photo of Olivia Wilde at the Globes.  I thought she looked terrific in a fairy tale sort of dress.

Hybernation didn't cross my mind, lol.   Well I still worry about you out on the trails.   I also wasn't thinking that Sherlock was just waiting for you to come back, I thought may be he sensed danger.

I don't remember exactly, if that means anything.  I remember the movie, I think I didn't love it, didn't hate it.  Could have missed it and life would have still been just as fulfilling :D

I'm watching the weather.  I have to be in Minnesota on Wednesday for the trial.  We're looking at sleet, rain and snow tomorrow, I hope it all settles down in time for me to drive up there

About how I felt, thought I really enjoyed Julianne Moore's performance. Annette Bening was a bit too one-note irritating. Don't understand why she's getting all the press.

I've had a very nice day so far, although I haven't done anything with the music for the Sherman Brothers, but I'll do all of that tomorrow because the singers can't come till Tuesday.

I've written a little over six pages today and will write at least three or four more later - just started a new chapter and am more than halfway through the book now.  I wrote one really nice sequence of just prose - there tends to be a lot of dialogue in these books, so it was fun to just write three pages with none.  And I solved one thing that I needed to solve, a set up to something that I think is really very clever.  We'll see how it plays out, but I got the fun idea in the shower this morning - all the good ideas for this book have come when showering.

I do hope we have some lovely reports about the Golden Globes, as I most certainly will not be watching it.

I had a craving for Dino's Pizza and coerced a local friend to go there.  It was, as always, great.

Thanks, so do I.  Having a subpoena doesn't give me a lot of choice, lol.  It's only 2 1/2 hours in good weather.

Finally had a chance to put all my Staples rebates in the computer.   Wish they could just reduce the price, but I'm sure there are people who don't bother filling them out
