GOLDEN GLOBES SPOILER

Best actor in TV series/drama is up next. Steve Buscemi looks nervous! And he had nothing to sweat about it - he nabbed it for "Boardwalk Empire." It's his first win.

"Boardwalk Empire" . That's two for two: The show just got the best TV drama Golden Globe as well.

KevinH, I'm envious. I love those trips to New York where you cram in as many shows as you can. I saw Hugh Panero on one such trip, but it was in "Side Show."

I love those trips too.  I need to plan out my trips for the year.   I'm planning to go to DC in May to see A TIME TO KILL.  Rupert is adapting it from the book for the stage.   I missed his last two shows in San Diego, so have decided I will make it to DC.  It's actually a lot cheaper and easier to get there from here than it is to go to San Diego

I'm going to DC in May also but we will be seeing Follies at the Kennedy Center with Larry's close personal friends, Danny Burstein and Ron Raines (they are in the show, we won't be seeing the show with them)

Hmmmm wonder if they overlap.  It would be fun to see both

Thank you for the link to the dresses. I have no idea who any of those people are. But the men certainly are dressing better than they have in the recent past for awards shows.

It's a show on Food TV.  The contestants are supposedly the worst cooks in America and they go through kitchen boot camp and be able to cook a meal to fool the top food critics into believing they are wonderful chefs, or something like that

You should enter along with Sandra.  Heck, her Floop recipe should guarantee a spot. ;)

Floop is way too good to get you on worst cooks.  For example one guy made his grilled cheese on his clothes iron

And that's when we are going to DC. We will be there the first weekend in May (the 6th through the 8th I believe). We may be seeing the first performance of Follies.

GOLDEN GLOBES SPOILERS

"Sons of Anarchy" star Katey Sagal snagged the best actress in a dramatic TV series award, her first Golden Globe win after being up for an award five times before. She was first given a Globe nod for playing Peggy Bundy on "Married with Children." She's shocked...but prepared, ha!

No need for spoilers.  The Golden Globes are live in all parts of the country.
