Too much postmodernism for one evening's reading. Night, all.

Okay people who are here and there are FIVE of you - let's all get off our collective ASSES and get some postin' goin' on.  I see you FJL - do a parody or something.  You've NEVER written a parody about this here site, for example.  Of course, this here site is a parody all by its lonesome.

The movie version of "Forever Plaid" is going to be on the Tacoma/Centralia PBS at 11 pm.  The downside is that this particular PBS station isn't in hi-def...and I don't know if they're still this way, but they didn't broadcast in stereo. :P But I'll at least get to watch it.

Had to work at a local event yesterday to benefit the local chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier, which exists to help women in the culinary profession. It was called Olives Ole and it featured olive plants for sale, olive oil tastings, olives, etc. I helped cooked and serve a veggie pita that was really quite wonderful. A colorful array of orange and red peppers, Asian eggplant, mushrooms, pattypan squash, yellow squash all on a homemade pita, topped with feta, olives, grilled scallions, olive oil and lemon juice.

Then it was off to the 83rd birthday of a friend who wanted to host a tequila tasting. Eight tequilas, then margaritas, all outdoors, followed by dessert in their wonderful treehouse. Didn't get home until well past midnight, which made getting to church at 8 this morning hard.

One Tequila! Two Tequila! Three Tequila! Floor!
