Well, you've read the notes, the notes were happy, and now it is time for you to post until the happy cows come home.

My ask BK ????

I see that a certain film review website is looking for reviewers. I believe you have been out spoken at the site before.

I thought it might be interesting if you became a reviewer there using a nom de plume and review the quality of releases like you do here. Maybe it will shake things up. Maybe you can be the new god replacing their current God Harris

So what do you think?

Good morning, all! I slept rather well. Around 12:30 I was up to check the windows; the torrential rain was pounding on the glass and I wanted to be certan I had no leaks. It was quite noisy. I had a long, peculiar dream of being in a classroom, trying to supervise copying of Victor Herbert scores and staying out of the instructor's way.

This morning, I have some photocopying of several Appalachian carols at Staples. Then, at 3, a meeting at 21st and Fifth Avenue about this Appalachian carol project. I really hate late afternoon meetings and the director and I need to discuss this schedule.

More coffee.

They have exactly the sorts of "reviewers" that all these sites have - that's what they want - they don't want people who really understand transfers and film.

Well, I didn't fall asleep till two and for some reason I woke up at five and haven't been able to fall back asleep.  I'll go back to bed in a while and hope I can get a few more hours.

BK, maybe you can get Lauren Bacall to sing "Alive".

They tried to get me go to jury duty,
But I said, "No, no, no..."

Actually, the Camden County Court web site told me "No, no, no...", so I didn't have to go.  I'm kind of disappointed, actually.

Thanks to all for the congrats on the part!  Much appreciated.

We have our cast meet and greet tonight, pick up our materials, and do some reading and singing!

Wednesday morning greetings!  Tonight Richard and I are going to the dress rehearsal for Dayton Opera's Daughter of the Regiment.  My friend Sharon is in the chorus and gave us the pair of free tickets that each cast member gets for each production.  She said she rarely has anyone who wants them.

My cardiologist has me on 75mg of that per day.

Oh, wait, that's PLAVIX.

Never mind.

It was a great story. Strouse uses/reuses plenty of his melodies for other and often better purposes, doesn't he?

Speaking of Strouse, I need to remember to buy tickets to Annie -- the Goldstein girls were talking about it the other day.

DR Jane, re: what you said yesterday. I don't send bulk emails so I had no idea they would be grouped together. But it makes sense.

Also i had no idea you could change the groupings in the preferences.

Ask BK:

Why would you waste valuable time watching something icky like ISHTAR when you have a wonderful DVDr of Universal's 1944 murder-mystery-musical MURDER IN THE BLUE ROOM just waiting to be viewed.
