And, finally, here's a musical egg that the Easter bunny brought me when I was about 5 years old.  It plays "Oh, Dear, What Can the Matter Be?"

DR Ginny, I have a later version of that Easter egg music box.  Mine is purple and plays "Here Comes Peter Cottontail".  Is yours also made by Mattel?

Yes, DR Dan (the Man), Mattel, Inc., 1954, Stock #513. It also has the following credits:

My production coordinator at the publishers has not responded to e-mails in a week - she's been out.  So all the book stuff has just been sitting there since yesterday morning, and who knows when she's coming back.  So, I had to go to BK-land for a while - her boss is now personally handling it, looked at what we sent, said it all looked great, and will now move it along.  I also got my long-time gal there involved - if I ever have probs she's the one I go to and everything gets instantly solved.

DR Ginny, I hope you will leave all the Easter tchochkes to DR MBarnum in your will. his home is the land where all dead tchochkes go. I had no idea you went all out for Easter. I only thought it was a Christmas tradition and I've known you for how many years!

Does anyone have an Easter bonnet to show off for us?

The Ohio Light Opera sent me a copy of the Blarney song. It's neither a manuscript nor a published song; it's a Finale score. Curiouser and curiouser.

DR Elmore - this is the extent of my Easter decor.  I'm not even getting out the baskets that we usually fill for each other the Easter Bunny usually fills for us, because Rob will be in Michigan, I can't eat chocolate, and Richard has just decided to cut back on sugar.

Nice Easter photos, DR Ginny. I don't think I have anything, but a couple of Easter plates. I usually just decorate with wine glasses anyway.

One of my mom's friends came to the sedar yesterday. He is a really good cook. He made 2 dishes that were excellent (potato latkes and smoked meat). And better yet he left me will all the leftover smoked meat brisket. It was so good. I told him he's my  new best friend.

Can't wait to eat it again!

How nice.  Once again a year without a sedar.  I really must go to L.A. next year where I will have several invites.

Why don't you have your own and invite some friends from around town.

What friends?  ;) I would be happy with just Keith & Craig, they aren't interested.  I haven't figured out how to make vegan matzo balls.

DR Ginny I like your easter eggs.  A couple of years ago, after Keith rearranged stuff in the garage, I went to get my basket of marble easter eggs and couldn't find them.

Someone I know was talking about bacon-wrapped matzoh balls earlier this week. Don't think those are vegan, either. Or kosher.

Thank you, DR Jane.  Now that you mention it, I remember I had a blue marble egg.  Wonder what happened to it?

Well, the guy who mentioned it was Jewish. Studying to be a Methodist minister. And former vegetarian, who went back to meat at my house one Easter when I served these amazing jalapeno-cheddar sausages.
