Well, you've read the notes, you know how I spent my Easter, and now it is time for you to post until the spent cows come home.

Good morning, all! Last night I had the strangest dreams, very much like A CHRISTMAS CAROL epiphany, so I wonder if I had ghostly apparitions as well? The dream, which seemed to go on forever, featured a lot of dead folk I care for, including my parents, and a lot of folk that for reasons of confict and dispute I've lost contact with. The first half of the dream, as I now remember it, was about a lot of grudges and my conflicts with various and sundry folk while the second half of the dream was more of a revelation that a lot of the blame actually fell on me. There are some former friends I am thinking now about contacting. But not the Macbeths. Never the Macbeths! That's the one place the dream goes to hell, and I blame the ghosts of my parents.

Today, the NYPL at Lincoln Center. I have some research and it will be good to be out and about.

BK, did you hold a copy of CAMELOT for me?

TOD:
Too many songs, especially the complete scores for "The Fantasticks," "110 In the Shade," and "Colette Collage." I loved working on "Mirette" with Harvey and Tom at Goodspeed but I have absolutely no memory of the score!

DR TCB - "Are You Ready, Gyp Watson?" is a song from the Broadway musical DESTRY RIDES AGAIN....produced in 1959 and starring Andy Griffith and Dolores Gray.  The OBC is on CD and it is fun to listen to.  It has music and lyrics by Harold Rome.

The Gyp Watson on Broadway - and presumably in the clip is Marc Breaux (as in "Marc and DeeDee").

When I arrived yesterday to visit my niece she had set up an easter egg hunt for me. Only thing was that she hid them in the same places that she told me my sister hid them earlier! :)

Tried to go back to sleep but wasn't successful and that may turn out to be a good thing, since I got a really good idea whilst laying there like so much fish.

If everything goes according to plan, I have a wonderful surprise arranged for DW Wife Betsy today.  Her best friend from college is in Portland for just a couple of hours, showing her daughter Lewis and Clark's campus, and I'm picking them up from the airport and then getting Betsy, who only knows something special is happening today at around noontime.
