We have a 3:00 appointment, and I'm not getting anything done for it quickly enough.

Last night I dreamed Elton John songs over and over....so this morning I got online and got in the moment tickets went on sale and, instead of doing the usual buy one and go by myself, I bought 2.   I spent way more money than I should have, but I decided I don't care.  I've always loved Elton John and since I don't have to travel to see him, I'm going.

Well, that's much more efficient than taking too much time to get nothing done, don't you think?

I'll either sell the second ticket to someone or see if Paul wants to trade a painting for it.  He's done a really cool immigration painting.  I almost have him convinced to just give it to me anyway, maybe this will tip the scales.

My last day off and I hope to get this house cleaned up.   Laundry, vacuuming, maybe going through my clothes and donating some of them to Good Will etc.

Astonished that word of mouth on BABY IT'S YOU has really turned around during its few weeks of previews.  Word has it that the story still doesn't hold together as drama, but that the show is loads of fun, maybe even (if needed) critic-proof fun that will really pick up come summer and tourist season.  Go figure, really.   It looked dire for the show just three weeks ago.

LOL!  But if that were happening, and I were getting nothing done for the meeting, i wouldn't write it anywhere that could be found by anyone.  :)

If everything goes according to plan, I have a wonderful surprise arranged for DW Wife Betsy today.  Her best friend from college is in Portland for just a couple of hours, showing her daughter Lewis and Clark's campus, and I'm picking them up from the airport and then getting Betsy, who only knows something special is happening today at around noontime.

I hope the plane arrives on time!!!

When I arrived yesterday to visit my niece she had set up an easter egg hunt for me. Only thing was that she hid them in the same places that she told me my sister hid them earlier! :)

Has anyone ever ridden on an electric bicycle?  After watching TAR last night I'm thinking it would be fun to have one.

I just uploaded my Errol Flynn play to CreateSpace....

Then, I discovered that, when I uploaded the Orson Welles play on Friday(?). I'd neglected to click the "Submit" button...

Not too smart...

 :-[
So, now I'll probably be getting both scripts to proof together.

 :-\

4 down and 2 to go.

DR elmore & DR George, thank you for your comments (last month) regarding UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.  We watched it last night & I too loved the movie. :)  Keith gave it three stars on NetFlix.

Uh-oh--I've seen this plot on a sitcom once.

It's a hoot. Any movie that ends with Barry Manilow is good for me.

What'ya know, my favorite all time movie (Attack of the Puppet People [1958] )was released in the middle east, back in the day! It is comforting to know that filmgoers the world over have been exposed to this movie.

I wonder how the reviews were?

I once asked John Agar: "Who saved the world more times?  You or Richard Carlson?"

He said: "Carlson".

I don't think anything has changed about Baby, It's You.  I think Warners is spending millions to make it seem so - sending people on chat boards, giving freebies to bloggers - the changes have been, from what I'm told, inconsequential.

The paper has finally been submitted. Spent the last six hours doing corrections and rereading it and doing more corrections. I can actually take a few days off!

Last night, there were 12 of us dining on crown roast of pork stuffed with macaroni and cheese, a ham, purple cauliflower, a just-picked garden salad, plenty of snacks, homemade Kalamata olive bread and who knows what all else. What was missing was the asparagus, which I forgot to prepare. Guess I'll be eating two pounds of it over the next few days.

Desserts were a blueberry pie with whipped cream and an apple cake with rum sauce.
