From Cilla:
Quote
I think I want to see Water for Elephants.  I read the book years ago, so I don't really remember it in detail.  That should help me enjoy it

I often find that helps.  Some books I just don't want to revisit.  This one I was looking forward to.  It is the reviews & comments that made my decision to avoid it.  I could change my mind down the road.

I had a larger version up but feared it would put us into widescreen.

It is definitely time to try to diet again.  I'm not quite back to my top weight, but I can see it from here and I don't like it. That's the real reason I got the bike.  There are some nice trails that start not far from my house and my neighborhood is pretty residential with only a few busy roads.  I haven't wanted to try to ride my regular bike because of the killer hills coming home.  Now I don't have an excuse.  I'm a bit nervous about how much of a kick it gives when it kicks in, but I can always turn the motor off.

Jane, I don't pay a lot of attention to reviews.  I have loved many movies that the reviewers didn't.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to say you're going to diet when you have a very full stomach?

Didn't two babies just fledge this nest a short time ago, Jane?

I think this is a different nest.

GOOD!  Have fun on your bike when the weather improves.  We had snow last night which melted this morning.

It is more certain comments than the overall reviews.  I look forward to what you have to say about it.

At the moment the mother bird is gone and I can see one egg & one very small baby.

Kathy Griffin's dissection of the Royal Wedding is a hoot. Her guest viewers include the Sklar Brothers and Jackie Collins. I though Victoria Beckham's hat was hysterically funny. Turn to the TV Guide channel.

I loved the wedding and have no interest in watching Kathy Griffing try to be funny about it.  She's just plain rude.

I want a tiara.  Of course I can't think of one place to wear it, but it would be nice to have one :)

I have developed a new obsession this week: Ice cream sandwiches. Take a chocolate cookie, smear Nutella or raspberry jelly or peanut butter on one side, cover with chocolate ice cream. Then top it with another cookie with jelly on one side. Roll in toasted hazelnuts. Freeze.
