my body doesn't feel so battered today.  i'm still nervous about my doctor's appointment.  i really don't want to need a cast especially with the itchy abrasions that will be inside of one.

Room holds about eighty.  If we can just get twenty people there it will be fine - sometimes those kinds of audiences are great - but five is almost impossible, although I've told her we'll just treat this like a dress rehearsal.  I added one joke about the Mac Awards.

I went downstairs to the gym and did three miles on the treadmill and burned off five hundred calories, so that's good.

DR Ron Pulliam - sorry, I missed your question yesterday!  In order to minimize the fat content, I simmer the chicken and remove the skin.  Then, after I dredge it in an egg wash and a flour/spice mixture, it requires just a few minutes in the deep fryer to crisp up the coating.  This is how I've always done it and the only further adjustment, post heart attack, was to reduce the amount of salt in the coating.

Most interesting.   Thanks.  I'm gonna try that method.

OMG!  When did they finally get the message dept.....

I stopped directing or considering Tams-Witmark musicals because for smaller parts they sent "sides" - and you lost a week or more of rehearsals because people didn't get how to use them OR you had to copy lots of parts.....

BUT as I was looking at the material for CAMELOT that arrived yesterday - I find that they now send small books with complete scenes for the characters!!!

I am so very happy.....no more struggling and no more copying.....plus with the extra one I ordered....I have 5 full scripts for major characters!

Thanks, T-W!  Your catalog is back in my folder!

I am not unhappy with the results of TAR.....but my favorite team was eliminated half way through the 2 hour show.

Same here....about the team eliminated....but would rather have had the 3rd place team come in first. Ah, well...maybe next season when the Gahagen family returns.

BK, are all of the audience members people who have already purchased tickets? Is that why you know only 5 people will be there? Or can people buy tickets at the door?

The Mac Awards--feh!  All the times I've used my debit card this year and I don't get nominated?!?

Oh Elmore an Jose, just because I go up to every well dressed elderly lady I see in a restaurant and question them as to whether they used to be an actress....you never know who I might meet!

It's the old men who are complaining.

I'm on break, The meeting is long but quite productive.

Back from my lunch.  The show tonight is going to be very lightly attended, sadly, thanks to the singer's booking it on the night of the Mac Awards.  The fellow who helps book her NY stuff assured her it would not be a problem and he was stupid and wrong and is now apologizing.  He's had a week to do damage control and, as far as I can tell, he's done zero.  Had anyone told me the Mac Awards thing at any point I would have stopped this folly.  I've made a few calls and our very own Rodzinski is now coming and will try to rustle up some folks.  I'm still hoping elmore can be there  because otherwise right now there are about five people coming.

I'm not sure at this point, BK! I've got a ton of prep work for this Appalachian turkey and I'm back to the meeting as soon as the smokers return from the street.

I'm not exactly sure what this means, JRand, but you're as happy as I would be if car makers would put ashtrays in cars again.

Back from sound check.  We're just gonna do the best show we can and if it's six people it's six people.  The guy who screwed up is done - she won't work or talk to him anymore - he's not even coming tonight because some train was derailed on Sunday in Long Island, but somehow I think that people from Long Island are somehow finding their way into the city two days later.
