In honor of National Ice Cream Day, we just had vanilla frozen yogurt topped with the bourbon-infused caramel sauce that I bought yesterday in Kentucky.  Yum!

Two episodes down of WIVES AND DAUGHTERS, and I like it as much as the last time. The ending still bothers me. Did I never watch the final disc the last time?

Where do you purchase your Magnums.  I don't believe I have ever seen them.

I had a Haagen-Dazs coffee & almond crunch snack size bar.

The regular size bars are too much for me.

They look good DR TCB.  Do you prefer them to Haagen-Daz?  I only eat the coffee bars with the crunch topping.  I want to try a vanilla caramel cone along with a caramel Magnum.

Kickstarter/Amazon has charged my KICKSTARTER pledge....it is OFFICIAL.

Me too!  I thinks it's pretty strange to pledge and cancel.

In honor of National Ice Cream Day I forgot to get the gallon of ice cream out of the freezer last night, so I now have a gallon of ice cream to eat!

Sounds good.  I've eaten too much ice cream the last few days & am not giving in to temptation.

I didn't feel like going downstairs for the ice cream, so I had another piece of cake.  I feel sugared out

The caramel Magnum is pretty incredible.

Loved the New York Times review of "Annie Get Your Gun" at Glimmerglass. Seems the opera house was not afraid of including "I'm an Indian, Too" and the rest of the original show. That's the way I first saw in an outdoor  community theater production (with about 75 people on stage) and would love to see it that way again.

Just finished "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Never saw it, and although the look is dated, the movie is very funny for its type.

One was chocolate with buttercream frosting.  The other I picked up from the case and it was supposed to be white but it was actually marble.  I had the chocolate tonight.  I'm already tired of it.  I'll take it to work tomorrow.  I may give it to Clyde the barber.

Well, the cancellation could very well have come from someone without a lot of money who was nonetheless trying to help out and once he/she saw the goal had been met, decided to keep their money.

Maybe they thought that they only had to pledge and not actually pay. ::)

DS Rob arrived home about an hour ago with the great news that he's passed the practical phase of the national paramedic registry test.  Now he just has to pass the written part and find a job!

Very good news!  Congrats to DS Rob!!

And GOOD LUCK on Finding a Job!!

Has anyone braved the crowds to go see HARRY POTTER yet?

I haven't, but I eventually will.  I just need to watch Part 1 first.  I didn't see it in the theaters.  I bought the Blu-ray, but I just haven't taken the time, yet.

I have my TV on (but I'm not really watching it) and it's on the baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays.  It's the top of the 11th, that's right the 11th inning and the score is zero to zero!

Just had to share. :)
