REVENGE OF THE NOTES
« on: October 12, 2011, 12:25:48 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a prequel and a sequel all in one, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently watching Revenge Of The Cows.

DR JOSE (From yesterday)

To clarify your question and Vixmom answer

The Masquerade number had no mannequins. It seemed to be that they especially brought in a lot more chorus members for this number because to my eye there were not that many in act one.

From yesterday>>>>

Andrew Lloyd Webber said that Michael Crawford came over from the Palladium (in time for the curtain calls). So I guess he is still doing The Wizard of Oz.

From yesterday>>>>>

Re: The Phantom's appearances.

This was evident in the crossovers. Hard to tell it wasn't the actor playing the Phantom but it was easy to tell it was someone else playing Christine. The camera is less forgiving in the illusion than sitting in the audience watching it.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, in addition to yesterday's thanks, to JMK, Laura, Jose, Cilla, vixmom, MBarnum, and anyone I accidentally forgot in my pre-coffee-infusion haze

Here's an excerpt from the Playbill article listing the particulars about the reading BK saw last night.

http://www.playbill.com/news/article/155387-Reading-of-Terrence-McNallys-Some-Men-with-Maxwell-Caulfield-Robert-Gant-Presented-Oct-11

"A one-night-only benefit staged reading of Terrence McNally's play Some Men, which chronicles the history of the gay movement over the past 80 years, will be presented Oct. 11 at the  NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood.

The 8 PM reading features the talents of Maxwell Caulfield, Chad Allen, Josh Cox, Robert Gant, Kevin Spirtas, James Brandon, Steve Callahan, Rich Carillo, Cody Henderson, Jason Heymann, Ed Martin, David Pevsner, Scott Presley, Michael A. Sheppard, Clay Storseth and Juliet Mills. Nic Arnzen directs."

Good morning, all! I have no memories of any dreams last night, I am happy to say, and my day today is quite full: City Center Encores! to visit with Joshie and look at the full socre for 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, lunch and a chat with Rob Berman about some work on the Encores! Gala.

My wonderful brother Randy and sister-in-law and chef par excellence JoAnn gave me for my birthday a Kindle, and I have to get it up and running before they think I don't like it. I'm really lousy with technology and could use some help playing with it, and I really don't know what I want to download! I hate trying to learn something from an instruction manual; I feel as though the manual and the illustrations are speaking Esperanto and I'm waiting for the translator to show up.

DR FJL, This is a belated happy anniversary wish! You and Skip are the best, and I dropped the ball yesterday. Hopefully this will give you the excuse to celebrate another day.

Lar, there are some videos at Amazon about setting up your Kindle. Perhaps they will help.

Kindle Set Up/Start Up

I would offer to help but I have a Sony. I don't know that they are that different  but who knows.

If you haven't yet charged your Kindle I would start there since it can take 4-6 hours to charge the device.

I recently bought a new phone and today sent my first text message to a friend reminding her of when we are due to meet. Unfortunately I seem to have inadvertently sent the message to everyone in my phone book, including friends, businesses, dentist etc. How embarrassing!! Goodness knows what they will make of the message. I just hope they don't all turn up.

Thanks, Larry!  Actually, the official 22nd anniversary day was Monday, but we're celebrating all week, so you're completely on time!

I'm sorry, Doug, but I laughed when I read this. It sounds like something I would have done.

I knew Yeston wrote the STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL stuff because various tunes have ended up in fake books I've owned through the years.

Is MBarnum impossibly lost in Venezuela yet?
