I just decided to do nothing today and it was the right decision, even though it will make tomorrow very busy.  Later tonight, I will figure out which music needs to be Xeroxed, but that's it.

I had a very late or very early meal at Casa Vega with the Hollises.  Great food, as always, and this time the table split some chili con queso dip that was out of this world - so, I'm VERY full right now.  Picked up one package and an important envelope.  And I've watched one motion picture and probably will go for another.

"Wonka' actor who played Violet's dad dies at 87".

He was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Redhead

Thank you-too bad that wasn't mentioned.

DR MBarum we continue to watch CHEYENNE & are a bit baffled with something.  I'm hoping you can solve the puzzle.  In early episodes we used to joke & guess at which point Cheyenne would take his shirt off.  About the same time the shirt stopped coming off a very obvious stunt double became a regular.  While the fat stunt double is no longer there are still scenes where a double is used.  Walker still looks & moves beautifully so we can't understand why a double is needed for him to jump out of a wagon.

Half the fun of watching CHEYENNE is trying to figure out which old movie the stock action footage come from.

In one episode that I recall, Walker changed clothes 20 minutes in so that in the next scene he could double Joel McCrea from COLORADO TERRITORY.  It was so obvious that that was McCrea chasing the train.

Funny Druxy, we were oblivious to why he changed his clothes though we notice the changes.

The 3rd episode of the 1st season is TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE (Walker in the Huston part) and a later episode is TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT...set against the Mexican revolution.  Walker does the Bogart role.

Much of the dialogue from the movies is used in these episodes.

Dealing with an incredible ASS at the site.  He was fired there long ago and continues to pontificate as a user.  He seems particularly full of himself lately, and is now arguing with me about Bossa Nova and Brazilian music.  Who do you think might be better informed on those subjects, eh?  ;)

The really hilarious thing is he accuses me of "name dropping" (which I didn't do), and then lists off a number of musicians he's met, several of whom are/were personal friends and one of whom was a teacher of mine.  :)  I think I'll just let the ASS have the last word as he has in actuality been talking to himself all along.

DR Kevin quick healing vibes!!

Thanks, DR Jane!   I got a few stares from people in the theatre.  I guess my bandaid (above my eyebrow) is pretty conspicuous.

Kevin, the night before I started a job years ago, I had an incident with my cat Petey and he ended up scratching my face so bad I needed stitches ( he was trying to get away, it wasn't an attack).  Since I needed a bandage, I decided to go with some superhero, don't remember which one at the moment.  So instead of people acting all weird, they laughed.  I liked that better

The wedding reception was great.  Lots of friends there. It was an occasion to dress up, so I did.  I really don't dress up often.  It took me about 20 minutes to find my black pumps, lol.  But it was worth it.  Lots of fun and fun

...However, about halfway through the first act, I could tell that the past week was starting to catch up with me. So... I think I'm just going to plan the rest of my packing, and head to bed sooner rather than later. -Then finish packing in the morning before I head in for tomorrow's shows.

And it looks like my Mom will be released tomorrow afternoon, or Monday morning. My Dad hasn't been too forthcoming with all the medical details, but he seemed pretty sure that she was doing much better. -I just wish I wasn't so busy - and so tired - right now. I really would have liked to head down to Richmond to check in on her before leaving for L.A.

BK.

Hoping you can help me out.

You recorded an instrumental version of Fred Karlin's "Come Follow Follow Me" on "Cool & Classic: Great Film Themes From The 70's"

I was wondering if you would have the sheet music with the lyrics?

I have been trying to transcribe the lyrics from the only vocal recording (Springfield Revival) I have of the song but not all the lyrics are intelligible.

I don't have it - I believe it was published - check eBay.

Will do

Thanks

I Googled this and ended up at the 1973 Academy Awards listings on IMDb.  Why the frell was Jesus Christ Superstar nominated for some Special Award of Merit?  I didn't even know they had/have that category.
