I am eating a very interesting side dish with my dinner.  I picked it up at Safeway, form their deli.  It is Three-potato Au Gratin, which I mistakenly read as thee cheese au gratin, which sounded very tasty.  It is a mixture of Yukon Gold potatoes, yams, and sweet potatoes covered in a cheese sauce.  It is okay, but it certainly not what I thought it was going to be.

I really wanted to pick up a package of  Safeway's cornbread dressing and some turkey gravy.  Apparently they stop stocking dressing as soon as Thanksgiving is over.  Well, at least until Christmas.

My biggest seller was probably mouse pads (shows it has been a few years).  Everyone wanted a photo of their child or grandchild on their mouse pad.

Thank goodness I didn't run into any ice getting in and out of my car.  It took me close to 15 minutes just to get from my apartment, put the chair in the trunk, and then get into the car.

It amazes me that I am still recieving catalogs in the mail for ordering things for Christmas.  i f you wnated to get the gift my Christmas, you would have to pay extra for shipping.  Actually, I saw a comforter in one of the catalogs that I thought would be great for my bed.  Unfortunately, it was sold out in all six colors that were listed.
