All this talk about drinking has made me wonder:  what is it about Bobby that reminds Harry of the Seagram Building?

??

Tom, it's a reference to a line from the musical Company.  It's in one of the songs, so it's on recordings of the show.

I have done the show, but I sure don't remember that line.
Joanne laughs at the line.

Ginny, I have been meaning to ask you; was there anyone on your river cruise that was in a wheelchair?

Yes, DR TCB, the wife in one of the Ohio State couples was in a chair.  There was a small elevator and she got around fine.  They were in a different shore tour group, so I didn't see how she got along off the boat.

The New Yorkers on the board may be interested in this:

http://www.92y.org/tickets/production.aspx?pid=72485

Jason Graae, Christine Andreas and Howard McGillin in the same show!  I'm thinking of going that weekend (January 7-9). It's amazing how much cheaper the hotels are that weekend as compared with last.

Anyone interested in going?   BK--maybe that'd be a good weekend to shoot some more Outside the Box episodes!

John, so sorry to hear about the break-in. My house in Marietta was burglarized 4 times and the Atlanta one once. It's a creepy feeling. One thing I hate is that months later I will still discover something that's missing that I didn't report.  Argh....

I really don't think anything was taken. I do think the worse news came later in the evening. The paper I thought I had all weekend to do has to be finished tomorrow. So, it's going to be a long night.

OK, Cilla, enquiring minds want to know:  what was up with the disruption right before the debate ended?  It sounded like someone was ranting about the Federal Reserve.

Hi! The debate was really fun. I'll have to go back to the DVR and see if I can hear what he was saying.   HE was occupy Sioux City.  It's usually a few guys at the library parking lot for an hour every month or so.  I couldn't hear what he said, he ranted and raved then quietly walked out with the security guards.  No problem.

After the debate my friend Julie wanted to have a drink, so we went to a local martini/wine bar.  I forgot that's where the Newt $1500 per person private party was taking place.   We just walked in, had a glass of wine, listened to Newt talk to the faithful, chatted with the people we knew and left.   It was actually a very fun night.  One of those nights where you get a great parking place, find two good seats (We were in the back with the others who had the cheap seats, but we were in the third row of the cheap seats - don't think you can see us on tv

Time to skim through the debate coverage. It's going to be fun to see the commentary and who the talking heads thought won or lost.
