DR TCB, how are you feeling today?

I've been to store and returned with vodka. I got about halfway through the Disc 3 songs in seven hours and figured, the hell with it. I'm tired.

You are really going to drink the entire bottle‽  ;)  I don't understand how anyone can drink vodka to begin with.

I can't drink spirits at all. Fortunately I don't have a problem getting to sleep. My problem is trying to stay awake - zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

All sorts of food wake me up if I eat them at night.  Pop corn, chocolate, spirits & sugar to top the list.

Chocolate has a great deal of caffeine in it.

Yes & I have trouble resisting it.

Coffee ice cream at night isn't a good idea either.

The first morning on Bora Bora we took a tour.  You can see how much the wind was blowing.  My hair almost looks half decent compared to most days on the trip.

I have been sorting and shredding all day.  First I cleaned out the email on my old desktop computer in preparation for banishing it from my study.  Then, while watching the US figure skating championships, I sorted and shredded papers.  Not quite done yet, but needed to give the shredder a break...

You don't look very comfortable in that photo.

My mother complains of not being able to stay asleep at night and I blame the Scotch that she drinks right before she goes to bed.  She pretends that she didn't hear me when I mention it.

And...

Now I need to get ready for yet another evening of theatre. Tonight's entertainment: the penultimate performance of Chinglish.

Does anyone know why on two of the better (best) songs from Sunset Blvd "With One Look" and "As If We Never Said Goodbye"

There is a credit that says; "Contributions by Amy Powers"?

I know she is is a lyricist. I was wonder why she wasn't credit it as such. I looked at her website

Did you Google her name?

She only worked on those two songs, so they couldn't just list her a lyricist for the entire show.

Well, that didn't stop an "Additional Lyrics" credit on another Webber show I can think of.  :)

It will probably end up slowing down the remainder of my pay out, but is certainly worth it.  Just ask my landlord.

I was walking with a neighbor when we lived in Michigan who was concerned about her mother in-law who was staying with them.  On my advice she suggested her MIL not take a drink before bedtime as your mother does.  They were both grateful for my suggestion when the MIL began sleeping through the night.

I have a hunch that Ginny's mother will not have the same reaction.

Craig just came in with Kitty & asked me to watch her for awhile.  He is trying to get work done & she keeps crying at him. ;D  Sherlock is watching her while not getting too close since she hissed at him.  He is such a smart boy & respects her space when she asks for it.

Oh, I have been meaning to share this all with you for a couple of days.  Betsy was in hysterics the other day after having a received a questionnaire from a doctoral student with this "selection" at the top:

With which gender do you most closely identify?

DR Michael S - As others have pointed out already, Amy Powers is considered a co-writer of "Sunset Blvd." In fact, IIRC, her credit is a result of a lawsuit. You can Google the specifics.

I did. As I said I found own website but it didn't say anything.

Found some others but didn't say what happened.

I guess I didn't put the right google words in

I just thought people here would give me a quick answer.

I usually google first before I ask a question here.

BUT

Thanks for your answer

Went to the supermarket today and bought a chicken and Brussels sprouts (my favorite vegetable although oddly enough lots of people don't seem to like them) for tomorrow's roast.

I LOVE roasted Brussels sprouts.

I've never roasted them. Must try that.

Yum. Drizzle some olive oil on them with a little salt and pepper.
