Heard back from the composer, who unfortunately for me is not THE composer I was looking for, but someone who is also a composer/musical supervisor with the same name.  However, further Google search led me to find that the composer I want is now teaching at a college - I found the college, the faculty directory, and now I've written him at the e-mail address listed there.  Since it's not in this country, we'll see how this all pans out.

Good luck!

Well, James Cleverton is out. He's committed to the Buxton Gilbert & Sullivan Festival until August 18, the first day of our recording. I hope to hell Richard Morrison is available or we are back to goddam proverbial square one. If I were his agent, I'd try to get him out of the Buxton dates to record, but who knows which pays better?

I expect to finish mine tonight....after my Condo Home Owner's Association meeting in about 20 minutes.  So, I'm off.

Be back later!

Well, the chiropractor was honest enough to tell my Mother that nothing she (the chiro) could do would really help her.  She did tell Mom that the best thing she can do is to keep moving and if that requires using her walker at all times that's what she should do.  According to the x-rays, Mom's right hip should be replaced, but her age and respiratory condition make her NOT a candidate for that.  She took it all pretty well and we went on to an open house hosted by a friend who sells Longaberger Baskets

Thank you, DRs JRand, George, and Jane for the nice comments about my new avatar.  It's cropped from the picture I posted yesterday.

I just finished watching THE DESCENDANTS.  Kind of tough to watch after what we went through with Richard's brother's family 3 years ago.  Not going to recommend it to Lauren and her mom...

At least she won't wonder if there is something to be done.  Might a physiatrists (pain doctor) help?  Bryan suggested look into seeing one.  I know of one in town but I know I don't want to see him.

I didn't make the connection when I watched it.

Sorry for being absent today.  I have been feeling a bit under the weather.

Hopefully, back in the morning,

TOTD - I am very fond of rice pudding, but the good baked kind, not the overly sweet soupy kind usually found in supermarkets.

TOD - broiled, baked, or poached fish.  Not fried - the coating may be too crunchy.

What is it, fish?
