I think if there were truly a movie version of Lucky Stiff happening in June it would not only be on the imdb it would have been announced everywhere.  In order to shoot in June they'd have to be fully cast and in pre-production now.  It sounds like a load of hooey, just like listing their upcoming productions as if they had anything to do with them other than having written them.  It's the usual sort of "let's keep our names current and out there."

The fish survived the trip and are happy swiming in their new home, which has an excellent mesh covering which no herons or vultures can possibly get through.

:)

And thank you.

I thought it was an odd choice and probably expensive to film because of the overseas location, but I would welcome it. Stranger things have happened. That film of "Forever Plaid" went nowhere. Is it even on DVD?

Broadway Radio interviewed Stephen Flaherty last week and he talks about the film version of Lucky Stiff and the new songs he is writing for it.

I didn't ask anybody else to call A/F mediocre.....I just said it was my opinion.  I am happy they have knowledgeable people who feel otherwise.

I don't think I'd call Ahrens and Flaherty mediocre.
I agree, to an extent. I'm not that thrilled with "Dessa Rose," "Anastasia" or all of "The Glorious Ones," but I do love "Once on This Island" and "Ragtime."

The sounds of a "Rocky" musical could be good. "Golden Boy" was.

And don't forgot about A Man Of No Importance with Faith Prince and Roger Rees and Jessica Molasky

Counter-offer has been signed and is about to be presented.  Vibes appreciated.

Then it wasn't a full offer?

VIBES THEY ACCEPT THE COUNTER-OFFER!!!

It was, but they wanted an insanely long time to do the inspections, so we changed that and a couple of other minor things like adding several zeros to the purchase price.  :)

All opinions are welcome here.  Different strokes for different folks.  There are many composers/lyricists that I find truly mediocre that others would defend staunchly.  Thus is the way of the world.

Electric Company:  Limelight
Hospital:  Lime Aid
(and my personal favorite, which I came up with):
Used Car Company:  Lemon Lime

Can we add:

Lime Life Savers – Local ambulance company

Lime Away – Travel Agency (previously taken)

I assume Lime’s official insect was the Deer Tick

I'm off to an AAUW board meeting, which I would skip but for the fact that they're giving me $200 toward my expenses for last weekend's conference in Findlay.  Showing up is the least I can do...

Bye for now!

Enjoyed last nights THE AMAZING RACE. I got a bit teary eyed a couple of times. Loved the Bollywood dancing....(the blonde) Rachel was amazing! I bet she could get a job in Mumbai film industry.

I got sick and tired of the Border Patrol guy constantly saying that only woman can dance...dancing is for women, men can't dance...blah, blah, blah...obviously he didn't see that half of the dancers in front of him were men.
