Yesterday, I managed to pass three kidney stones in a twelve-hour time frame.  They were accompanied by the usual agony, moaning and groaning, and blood.
That just makes me pale at the thought. My sister has to go back to the hospital Tuesday because they didn't get the second too-big-to-pass stone. We're all in a really mess with those ugly things.

Sorry about your sister, John.

It is a shame.  I don't think any theaters out here do CURIOUS SAVAGE, except high schools.  It is a lovely show.

Right now, I am feeling good.  I am tired, so I should probably go rest on the bed for a time.

I have left DR Ginny and Richard at the Yarn co., on Broadway around thecorner from my apartment. We had a lovely and liesurely lunch.DR FJL showed up around 2:45, which gave us time to catch up on the mutual friends and peccadilloes in my hometown. It was nice to see DR FJL and we had a great time. A photo was taken, DR JRand61.

Olympia Little Theatre performed it back in 2004.  I actually saw this and it was quite delightful.  My friend Pug (who is directing "Titus") was in it.

If you click on "Photo Gallery" on the left, you can scroll down to the pictures of their production.

I passed three kidney stones on the street - they were singing Glenda's Place from Whoop-Up.

Back from eating and picking up no packages and dealing with a slight annoyance.  I got an e-mail from the company that takes many Kritzerland CDs - their weekly check to us was returned because someone at their bank didn't follow overdraft instructions - three of us companies were hit with returned checks.  So, rather than wait, I called the bank, was told the check could not be redeposited, and then I e-mailed the fellow who'd said he would wire the money into the account if the check had been returned.  Hopefully he will attend to that no later than tomorrow morning, which will put the money in our account minutes later.  We're never in the position to have this sort of thing happen.

Thanks for the photo link DR GEORGE.....they do a lot of the same shows we do.

DR TCB - the show had been done by all of the high schools in the area....and I pretty much wrote it off as nothing I would like, until I read it last year.

PCPH had never done it in the 51 years of its existence.....so we will remedy that fact this season.  A lot of good old plays are passed over in favor of new and modern stuff that really doesn't entertain or inform.....not that ALL new stuff is like that....

LOL, DR Jane!  He was happy to sit on a stool and read a book on his iPhone while I chatted with the owner Tavy and Mercedes and Annette who helped me pick out some beautiful yarn for a small traveling project.  I did call him over to see the yarn-winding contraption.  We caught the bus back to our hotel and now he's next door at Evening Prayer.  In an hour or so, we'll start our walk to Studio 54 for HARVEY.

DR TCB, I'm so sorry to hear you've been among my many friends suffering with kidney stones recently.  Glad to hear you're feeling better!

I'm glad Richard was content with his iPhone :)  I will have to make sure Keith has his iPad next time I drag him shopping. ;)

Eek, those kidney stones do not sound like fun at all, DR TCB. Glad it is over for you...and hopefully you won't have to go through that again.
