Is the Queen's Jubilee Concert that ABC is showing tonight, the same one that took place last night in London?

Thank you to DRs Jane and Jeanne for the continued vibes for Amy.  She's posted some on Facebook today, but mostly she's been resting.

A good number of years ago I began losing the hearing in my left ear.  When I had my hearing checked the doctor also ordered a cat scan as loss in only one ear can be an indication of a tumor.  Knowing 3 people at the time, including my sister, I was grateful for the scan and that it was normal.

Eight months ago my hearing had gotten so bad I went to the audiologist (actually my third time there over the years tracking my hearing) and was told to return in two years & that even then I might not be able to tolerate hearing aids due to my sensitivity to loud noises.

For eight months, really more than that, I've been driving Keith & Craig crazy with my inability to hear.  Before we left for Chicago I had my ears rechecked to make sure nothing was wrong and that the constant sensation of being plugged could not be corrected.  I also had my hearing rechecked.

As of today I am wearing hearing aids and trying not to feel old.  Really, I'm too young for this.  Most of all I hope I can adapt to them and hear properly.

I have to slowly up the sound levels.  It is amazing all the sounds that are annoying because I can hear them.  Crinkling paper sounds very loud as does scratching my ears.  Craig was pouring juice and I realized I hadn't been able to really hear this in a long while.

Everyone who wears glasses can relate the feeling of suddenly seeing to suddenly hearing.  That little boy yesterday truly captured my expression.

DR Jane, I've known people way younger than you who wear hearing aids.  Vibes that you're comfortable with them and that they help a lot!

Thanks DR Ginny.  So far they are better than I expected.  I am very fortunate to have the state of the art equipment.  It is wonderful how the audiologist downloaded all my information.  I have to carry a remote with me now to adjust them-lol.

I also have a soft level to turn sounds down if I want a break from them.

Is the Queen's Jubilee Concert that ABC is showing tonight, the same one that took place last night in London?

Well, it's pretty heavily edited, so I'd assume it's from last night.  All I've been able to see of the Jubilee festivities is clips on CNN in the workout room at the Y, so I'm watching this.  Katie Couric looks like she's started down the plastic surgery road.

One of the things that drives me crazy in this sort of program is the fact that the camera can't stay still for more than half a second.

The same as the attention span of their core audience.

not yet.... but the thought is in my mind -  now if everybody would simply deposit $35 into my paypal account every day I could become a lady of leisure-  or at least a lady who can finally find time to clean her house, do the laundry, drive her parents to the doctors and the supermarket and actually cook a meal that starts with raw ingredients and does not involve the microwave
