Just kiddin'! Clowns are only mildly creepy -- I'm in therapy because of mimes, so as long as you don't post any BD cards with mimes, I'm okay...

Friday afternoon greetings!  I've been home about an hour from my 30-hour trip to Lima for the 3rd annual synod of the Anglican Province of America Diocese of Mid-America.  The meetings went well and the ladies of the church did a fantastic job with the hostessing.  Looking forward to not having to be charming for a while...

I feel as if I've just been punched in the stomach. Just learned that one of the interns for the board that I serve on was one of the victims at the movie theater shooting last night.

I am so sorry, John.

Here's a story on Jessica that's on USAToday's website:

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/story/2012-07-20/jessica-redfield-ghawi-sports-journalist/56369600/1

I'm so sorry to hear that this tragedy has struck so close to home, DR John G.  The victims and their loved ones were prayed for during this morning's Synod Eucharist.

Rainy, rainy morning here in Conshocken.

I think it's nice that Dunkin Donuts is hiring hearing-challenged individuals.  True, my clearly stated order for a large black coffee and two chocolate cake donuts resulted in a coffee with cream and sugar and two chocolate frosted donuts, but that is besides the point, correct?

First thing I had to learn whn I moved to the East  Coast was that a "regular" coffee meant with cream and sugar.

That was a shock because, to me, "regular" meant NOT DECAF.  Now I know what they mean by it, but I refuse to use the term, preferring to describe precisely what I want.

BK, I really don't like to see you picking on DR Laura.  She's here all the time.

Went to my doctor for a follow up today.  She said I'll be sore and tired for about 4-6 weeks, but that I'll be fine.   I tried to work, but only lasted a couple hours and had to come home.   About ready to fall asleep right now.

I hate cream and sugar in my coffee.  I would be very unhappy to get that by mistake

I have a Costo pizza -- my first Costco purchase.

And Sandra really hardly ever posts on Facebook. Only three posts in July.

Much safer that way.

This pizza is a disappointment.

You should have gotten a Costco hot dog.  They are the best.

I've always liked them...maybe your Costco pizzas just aren't as good as my Costco's pizzas.

I was looking forward to a veggie pizza -- mushrooms, olives, onions, green pepper. They didn't have it. So I got a margherita pizza.

My programmable thermostat is set to turn off about a week before Halloween -- when it cools off enough to have it off.
