So, I guess it wasn't my imagination:

Chase through Warren Co. ends in Middletown

I can't believe that NBC News just ruined the swimming final for me.  I can understand the other networks not caring, but NBC??

NBC has been really lousy with all of this.  I'm thinking I need to DVR the early morning live coverage and then speed through it when i get up

Sorry DR TCB.  That wasn't nice of them.

There excuse was that it was already big news all over the world.  Well, I had managed to avoid the information for the majority of the day.  Instead of caring about the almighty ratings, just show the events live.

LOL, I made it until 5 minutes before the race and I opened a window on my computer and there it was

At least AOL forced you to open the story to find out who won.  The headline jsut said that one of the two swimmers got the Gold.  Well, that in itself is kind of a giveaway, but oh well.

Last night, during the entrance of the U.S. delegation, Bob and Matt were talking about the "Made in China" uniform snafu.  I could swear that one of them reported that, "Raloh Lauren has promised that next time the athletes will be made in America."

Sadly it looks like DR George's theater manager friend, who vanished last weekend, is now facing additional problems.  He has apparently now been arrrested on child pornography charges.

Sheesh, during the men's gymnastics, before they showed a Japanese gymnast they said something like, he never messes up so this was surprising.  Can't they let us watch the Olympics

Oh, no...they've got to comment on EVERYthing, even when it's describing exactly what we're seeing for ourselves.  It's mind-numbingly irritating.

Tomorrow morning I'm meeting Rob and Mary Linda at Starbucks then accompanying them to their church.  After the service they're coming to Middletown to accompany me to the local Greek festival.

Watching the American men gymnasts and cheering for Sam Mikulak, Michigan Wolverine!

Are you saying that you shipped the cds THIS THURSDAY as in 2 days ago? And people are filing disputes? Have they gone mad. Even last Thursday would be crazy.
People have no patience anymore. And if somebody else has it, by gum, then they should have it, too! In fact, they should have had it first.

I thought the AC was included.  Are the other appliances built in ;)

Sorry, I am probably wrong.

Nope, you're not wrong. AC is not built in for most buildings like Larry's and mine (meaning central air). You usually have a unit in the window. The stove and fridge are part of the apartment.

The AC is part of my apartment; it's built into the wall.

Jane, I am addicted to "The Book Thief." I only have less than three discs left and just want to drive so I can listen to the rest of it.

Mother Nature decided to help me out by opening the heavens  - and fortunately our gutters were filling with maple  tree pods so all the water cascaded down the front and back of the house - pouring through one of the kitchen windows and filling the basement and the kitchen with dirty water
