Today's rehearsal went stunningly! We had Rachel, annalene, Hal, Philip, Joe, and John, and we got through the  secondary coiuple's (Hal and Rachel) three numbers, Annalene's reprise of "Bye and Bye" and her dialogue scene with General Putnam, and the Generals' "Cheerio" and "Full Blown Roses." After my concerns about the chorus, I know that I've got a fantastic cast.

Tomorrow Jim, our romantic lead, and Kim Criswell arrive and the party begins.

After rehearsal, David the conductor and I went out to dinner and then we hit a pub for a couple of glasses of Guinness.

Sounds wonderful!  Can't wait for the finished product!

I think we've been waiting long enough.  I'm opening a PayPal dispute.

Ron Palillo has died of a heart attack.

I just read about that:( I didn't know that he had been with his partner for 41 years!  And Ron was 63, so they were together since Ron was 22.  Amazing.

It's great.  From what I read he seemed to be living a happy & productive life.  What a shame.

It was mentioned whooping cough had effected his health.  From the time Craig began working at our local school I began begging him to get his tetanus booster which also includes whooping cough.  We live in the highest percentage of un-vaccinated children in the country.  As a going away gift Craig finally got vaccinated.

TOD, Part the Second --

Toys I wish they would bring back?  The Aurora Universal Monsters models!

They did come back for a time about 10 years ago, DR Chas.  Under another company--Polar Lights.  You might possibly still find them at some websites and at brick-and-motor hobby shoppes.

Dan the Man -

Discussion of phlegm on All That Chat reminds me -

Any reaction to the possibility of DO THE FLEHHH! as a follow-up to DO THE SKA! or DO THE TWIST!

or is the matter still with your trademark lawyers before you can comment?

I don't have any legal claim to Flehhh, DR FJL.  Run with it!

DR DtM the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your dream indicates that you are hesitant about several choices that you will be facing in the next few months, and that you need additional information to make the right decision.

You are also hesitant to let yourself be angry at someone about a slight or insult because it could end a friendship.

Wow!  The Dream-O-Matic 6000 is in top form tOday!  That analysis pushed some buttons for me.

TOD:

Red

Just that simple.  RED.  It was my favorite Crayola color.

That was my first favorite color.  Magenta was another favorite.

Aha! Magenta! THAT was my favorite crayola! In the deep crannies of my brain I knew there had to have been a favorite.

TOD:

Favorite crayons:  Lime Green, Yellow Green and Green Yellow

Toy I wish they would bring back:

I had that, too!  Except mine was called the "Time Machine." :D

Mine was labeled the same way, DR George.  I suspect that it was a case of two departments getting different memos from the toy designer.

I am trying to remember if I saw Ron Palillo at one of the celebrity shows in Burbank. I have a memory of him being very nice and funny, but don't know if that was in person or from seeing him on some show.

LOST WORLD or TIME MACHINE, I have never seen that toy before...but I am certain that had I seen it when I was a kid, I'd have definitely wanted it!

TOD

Don't remember which colors were favorites, but I'm revisiting the old names on Wikipedia which has a chart you can sort. .....

What a fun list!  I really liked the "precious metals" - copper, gold, and silver.

I loved to color and still do, but now I'm learning to use Copic Markers.

Those colors were never in the boxes I got.  You got the BIG box of Crayola Crayons, didn't you!!??

I think it's nice that new customers get $10 back on first purchase. Takes some of the sting out of the $20,000 cost.

:D

$9,999.99, you must be kidding.

I would rather have the autographed Steven Spielberg photo for $29.99.

I am watching some episodes of THE GLEE PROJECT - where 20 year olds audition to play teenagers on the tv show.

Most of them are talented, which helps......but it's kind of like drawing lots for a ticket on the Titanic.

All singers have their sheet music and mp3s.  Whew!  That took most of the last two hours.  Dear Brigitte ships tomorrow.  And, astonishingly, so does Martha Ivers - I don't know HOW they turned that around so fast, but they did.

I've seen links like this on Amazon..."If you buy this book for $147.35 and you sell it back for a $0.87 gift card, it will cost you as little as $146.48!"

Really??
