BK, there was an article on PSYCHO in the ArtsBeat blog in the Times.  I hope it's Ok that I put a link to your Outside the Box episode on PSYCHO there in the Comments Box.

http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/12/05/maybe-a-bathroom-with-a-nice-shower/
You have to scroll down to under the article for the Comments.

Very funny, Fred!

Thanks, george, on that aspect.

I was trying to show BK where i had linked his video in the comments there.  His video is linked at the top comment.  BK - Yours link is the top one of the two comments there.    (I'd put a different comment in the comment underneath it, no connection to your link.)

This weekend I have 3 concerts all with different music.  Two with the concert band and one with the flute choir.  Think maybe I should practice the music that was emailed to me last night

Mmm, fresh (albeit frozen) walleye. Sounds like a good dinner.

My body, especially my shoulders, especially my right shoulder, is a little sore after the awkward position of an MRI machine.  Still it was far better than when I did this while I was in the study at the NIH.   No vibes as experience tell me I should be fine by tomorrow morning.

And the word of the day is: NOBBY!

That causes a knee-jerk reaction.

Morning.

Sandy Bainum This Christmas, is just wonderful.

Listened to it all last night.   Did not want to turn it off.

And to work.

Wonderful Thursday everyone.

 :)

I agree.  The whole CD is first-rate.  I think the whole world ought to know about this uplifting Holiday album.

Nice review for BK and Sandy's Christmas album:

Boy, wait until Guy Haines reads that the reviewer thought it was BK on the CD!

Had a long but really fun shoot day - got great stuff, wrapped an hour early.  I spent ninety minutes on the first number, which is very unusual but I knew the subsequent two numbers would go quickly, which they did and we wrapped the first episode right on time.  The afternoon stuff, even though there were four songs, went wonderfully and quickly.  And I cannot say enough good about Adrian Zmed - hilarious, great to work with and this episode, which I was a little concerned about, may be the most visually interesting and now I think it's going to be very funny, as well.

Then I grabbed a sandwich and a cup of soup and I also picked up one package at the mail place.

I'm exhausted but I now have to find a scene partner for Adrian for tomorrow's set-up scene - all his friends are busy.

I don't know if there are any Ethel Merman fans or Annie Get Your Guns fans, but here is a scene from the 1966 TV version of the show. I had read that this show was considered "lost". So I found it a real treat to see it.

Pretty cool, Mike!
Yes, Mike, that was fun. Thanks for posting it.

TOD: I've never wanted a surprise party, and thankfully, I haven't received one.

Fine times with friends would have to be the best birthdays of all.

That may sound contradictory, but, in my book, it isn't.

Went to a wine tasting tonight and enjoyed some Champagnes that I can't afford. Then some French chardonnays and sauvignon blancs, followed by some Burgundies and more. Fun.

SKYFALL was VERY LOUD fun.  Partly the fault of the movie, even more the fault of the theater which apparently believes it is playing everything to teenage boys.  Well, Hollywood believes it's playing everything to teenage boys, too, so there you are.  But I usually luck out going to this particular theater on weeknights -- I shared the IMAX auditorium with all of (count 'em) ten other people.  For the most part, I have to say I had a very enjoyable evening of it.

The tasting was in one half of a French restaurant, so I just stayed there for dinner because I discovered that a couple of friends were working there. I treated myself to three appetizers: baked clams, two enormous marrow bones, and a beet salad that reminded me of the fresh beets we used to pick out of the back yard. I was one happy camper.

Finished my four days of orientation training. I may have worked for this place for almost two years, but I learned a lot about the place, not the least of which were the benefits, some of which still amaze me.

Yeah, ChasSmith, movies are so loud these days I don't enjoy them in the theater much any more.

There were six previews.  With one exception, you could have randomly swapped their sound effects tracks with probably no one being the wiser.  I kid you not.  By the way, one was a "catalog" feature -- JURASSIC PARK.  Well, guess what.  I'm here to tell you the 3D release next spring is going to sound just like IRON MAN and a thousand others.  They're not turning the knob up to eleven now.  It's more like one hundred eleven.  I mean on the film itself.  I know that one was famous for its thundering DTS soundtrack, but there's no way it sounded like the crap I heard tonight.

Nope. Didn't care for Jurassic the first time. I doubt I'll catch it when it's been made even louder.
